    • I was looking for an affordable Mouse Bungee and this exceeded my expectations.
I was looking for an affordable Mouse Bungee and saw this product listing. There were some negative responses about the USB hub portion, so I *almost* didn't order it. Here's my experience: The product came professionally packaged without damage. The Mouse Bungee is stable and the entire "upper arm" (the part where the mouse cord slips into) is made of a flexible material. The "flex" is enough to hold even a heavy mouse cord without drooping, but light enough to flex slightly as I move my mouse around (when I keep the mouse cord adjusted so it is "short" without any excess cord hanging from the bungee). The cord is quickly and immediately able to adjust in the bungee cord-slot. I have tested it with a standard Dell mouse (thick, heavy cord) as well as some gaming mice (including the Logitech G502 with the thin cord with braided cover). Both cords fit well and are held securely in place due to the "flexible" nature of the material used for the upper portion of the bungee. The USB hub: This was an additional bonus for me, as I was planning on buying a 4 port USB hub as well as a mouse bungee. This product is a mouse bungee with a 4 port USB hub! In short: the 4 port USB hub works as advertised, with no technical issues. All of the USB connectors feel and fit properly. The product comes with a USB cable. Although this cable can be used for a standard USB cable, the cable which comes with it has one end form-fitted where it attaches to the mouse bungee. This makes for a very secure connection (which I don't anticipate disconnecting at any regular intervals) and does not feel like it will pull out unless I attempt to remove it "like I mean it." The 3-leg (tripod style) base is where this product really shines: Do you sometimes move junk around on your workspace and need to quickly relocate your mouse? Those 3 legs (tripod) will be happy even if you set them on an uneven surface. The base of each of the 3 tripod "legs" is completely covered by a rubber non-slip foot. The rubber has stayed attached (I move my mouse often, and so the tripod gets relocated somewhat harshly) and indeed keeps the mouse bungee where I put it. The width of the 3 tripod "legs" (aka the product's 'footprint') is just right to keep it stable, even if I suddenly want to move my mouse and "drag the mouse bungee along". After using a tripod base mouse bungee, I don't think I'll need to find a better solution. Lighting: There is a light on the bottom which gives it a neat glow at night (backlighting for the tripod base, if you will), which is non-adjustable. There are two led lights on the top; one each at the top part of the front two tripod legs. These two lights, like the light on the bottom, are also non-adjustable; if it is plugged into a USB port which is on, the lights are on. In my opinion, the bottom light gives it a wonderful feel and the top two lights are a bit bright. Future product improvements: Don't change the base tripod shape/dimensions. The 4-port USB Hub layout is extremely functional (I like how the 4 available ports are angled slightly aft, thus keeping the cords in a manageable manner. The "boom" (where the mouse cord is attached); The up/down flex is spot on. For those who do lots of wide left/right sweeps (like those who use a mouse for First Person Shooter games), an increase in left/right flexibility would be an improvement. This could be done not by redesigning the whole product, but by altering the shape of the existing "boom" slightly to facilitate easier left/right flexing as one does broad sweeping mouse motions. The LED lights on the top; a method which would allow one to adjust brightness (even a low/med/high/off button) would be huge. In short, it is a good product and the area open for the most improvement would be 1) more flex for big left/right sweeping motions and 2) adjustable lighting. Order with confidence. ... show more

This mouse bungee is great. Basic function it holds the mouse wire so it does not rub on the back of the desk and wear it out. Bonus points for the extra usb to charge my phone and head set.
