Ordered this a few times. No complaints. Third bag we didn’t finish right away. A week after we opened it we pulled out a couple pieces with “fur” growing on them. After reading the fine print, found a statement saying after opening, refrigerate or use within 3 days. Our oversight but when I purchased another, we made sure tonrefrigerate the bag and didn’t make a week before the same problem was noticed. My dogs enjoyed the rest. Like I said, enjoyed the product, but if you’re buying these, better plan on eating them pretty quick after you open them. ... show more

I've been to the actual Tillamook factory in my adventures around the Pacific Northwest and visiting locations such as Cannon Beach nearby it. Good memories, and glad to see that this brand is always readily available on Amazon Fresh! Seems just as fresh as any packs bought locally in Oregon. Jerky can get incredibly expensive when you shop around various internet vendors, yet I always add a pack on my orders. Better to have a drawer full than risk running out of jerky! This particular product I have ordered several times. The flavor is good and fresh one opened. However, if you don’t eat it within a week, it has a tendency of getting hard. Not bad for the price but a lot of competition out there.!!

I'd like to start by stating that I review products very rarely. Once a year at most. I'm one of those people who only posts a review when I'm absolutely appalled by the product. Tillacrook Country Jerky has been rewarded my 1 star review of the year, this early into 2024! Congratulations! I would also like to state that I am in no way a connoisseur of beef jerky. But I've had mainstream jerky(such as Jack Links) & I've also had authentic jerky straight from the meat market. I'd like to think I have a general idea of what to look for in jerky. This however, is the absolute worst beef jerky I have ever had. The consistency of this beef jerky is not there. It can be thick, thin, dry, moist, fatty, lean & absolutely everywhere in between! I was mindlessly putting my hands in the bag when I first opened it, grabbing random pieces. My initial thought was that the flavor of it wasn't too bad. The next piece I grabbed, polar opposite. Mushy, moist, tasted funky. I honestly thought I was eating some "raw" jerky, I even spit it out of my mouth to ensure it was cooked. I then started digging through the bag to see what I ACTUALLY was eating & I was horrified. With that being said, I end my rant. I do however leave you with one question to ask yourself, would YOU eat the beef jerky pictured above? P.S. - If anyone's hungry, there's a brand new unopened bag of this "jerky" in my garbage can. If you're in dire need of food, please don't punish yourself by grabbing it. I'd rather treat you to a nice home cooked meal. I didn't even want to feed this to my dogs! ... show more
