Flavor Name: Old Fashioned
If you're looking for "old fashioned" beef jerky, this is NOT it. This is "fake" slabs of beef. Look closely at the label, it says "Chopped and Formed," which says it all. Looking closely at the beef, it is not thin slabs of beef, but more of a glued together ground beef that has been shaped into "fake" slabs. The meat is somewhat tough, but the intramuscular lines do not exist. In this world of "fake" everything; this unfortunately gets added to the pile of B.S. food products. ... show more

I personally like the taste and chew of this. Reminds me of the old round "dollar" jerky you'd get at the gas station back in the day. A little tough, but not dry and you can chew on it for a bit.

Quite a bit harder to chew than most jerky's, but ingredients and flavor are good. Oily / greasy which is probably why I would not buy again.

Bought some of this in Tillamook, Oregon and bought more for trips. It is individually packed (each slice is in a sealed package and then put into the full package. The Old Fashioned is my favorite and easy to chew with good strong, but mild flavor.
