This stained glass product has been protected with mineral oil as part of the finishing process. Please use a soft dry cloth to remove any excess oil. Note: Shade colours will appear darker and less vibrant when not illuminated.

I was very impressed with attention given to packaging. Everything arrived intact. I wish the light bulbs were seated farther up inside the shade because they show a little. I love the night light idea but, as pointed out by another reviewer, you do have to take the lamp apart to replace the bulb. I mean all the way because I had to pull the felt back in order to reattach the wing nut to the rod in order to get it back together. I found that it comes with that bulb in place. It was easy to assemble and I love it. It is WHITE, not the amber color they show, until you but the light bulbs in. I wanted to use LED but I haven't found one with a warm enough color. I LOVE this lamp! I think it’s very well made and very attractive. I especially like the soft light in the base which can be left on alone as a night light affect. I put 25w bulbs in the top because they seem to match the brightness of the light in the base. It was very quick and easy to assemble.

I absolutely love this light except for the fact that the inside light cannot be turned off without turning off power to the entire lamp. I purchased the magic hue bulbs so I can control the lamp with alexa. I suppose eventually the internal light will burn out but until then I suppose I will just have an extra night light. If I had known the entire light needs to be turned off I probably wouldn't have purchased this lamp but it is pretty and seems to be well made. ... show more

    • How STUPID! Good thing I could rewire them myself moving ...

I must have missed this in the description but they are plastic! You have to reach down behind the table they sit on and turn a small switch which turns the nightlight on and then there are two other pull chain switches for the main lights. You have to either leave the nightlight on 24/7 or find the switch three feet down the cord to use the lamp, How STUPID! Good thing I could rewire them myself moving the switch to the base of the lamp. We still have to turn the one switch on to use the lamp but don't have to reach down and pull the cord up to find the switch behind the table. I needed a lamp in neutral tones to play down bright paint colors on the walls. This is perfect and when lit at night is a beautiful presentation. I don't know what Thickness and Stretch represent for the review of this item but it is a good value and I am very happy with it.
