The glass lamp shade on this Tiffany-style lamp features a simple pattern with daisies and dragonflies that will glow when lit. The sleek, dark brown base will look elegant on your office desk or any other table throughout your home. Handcrafted using the same techniques that were developed by Louis Comfort Tiffany in the early 1900s, this beautiful Tiffany-style piece contains hand- cut pieces of stained glass, each wrapped in fine copper foil. Note: Shade colors will appear darker and less vibrant when not illuminated.

This lamp is not the usual design but it looks beautiful. No "assembly", it is just one piece on top of a base. Most Tiffany lamps are quite expensive I find, so this is a great bargain. It fits on top of any size or height, but I would recommend not putting it on a low top too close to someone sitting down near it, because the light of the bulb may 'can get in the eye' (depending on the person's height!) This is a beautiful lamp. I would recommend it to everyone. There are only two drawbacks and both have to do with the cord. The plug sticks out from the wall and prevents furniture from being pushed flush against the wall. So it is necessary to add an extension cord with a flat plug if you want to use this on furniture against a wall. The other problem is that the on/off switch is located on the cord about 8 inches from the lamp, so you have to pull out furniture to reach the switch on the cord. I read the other reviews, saw the pictures and wondered if this would be for me. YES! It is so bright and WARM with a 60 watt bulb. I put this in my music room and the glow is perfect day and nighttime. It is really bright, so you may want to reduce your wattage. Easy to put together, came packaged beautifully and was just what I needed, even though I didn't think I needed it! Great value and super pretty. Looked nice in the photo, and sturdy but a bit clunky when I pulled it out of the box. However, when I set it on my old wooden buffet, it looked very nice. When I lit it up, it looked fantastic. Even my husband noticed and immediately commented on liking it. It turns on/off with a round wheel switch on the cord. Or you can put it on a timer with it always set to On.
