When I ordered these, I was aware that it's tough to fit people for chest waders because people vary greatly in size and shape. So I am posting this review with an eye to informing other folks how these size 9 chest waders fit me and maybe they will gain some insight from my review. I'm 5'7" , weigh 185# and wear shoe size 9. The waders come right up to my armpits with some height to spare, and if I were two inches taller, they'd be perfect. This makes them slightly baggy, but I found that not to be an issue. The boots were probably a size too large, and the waist and chest were just about right. At first I wanted to return these because of the fit of the boots, but to get the right size boot, I'd be wary of the chest and waist measurements becoming unacceptably smaller, so I've decided to tough it out with oversized boots and some extra socks or something. ... show more

I bought these while looking for a good pair of affordable waders for duck hunting and fishing. I got them in a little less than 24 hour turn around with prime shipping. As soon as I opened them the camo stood out to me. It looks just like the realtree pattern so I was impressed there. I decided to try them on and they fit great. The pocket on the front for your hands is a big plus especially if you’re carrying your phone or anything else like that. It also has an inside pocket at the top of the waders very useful for a wallet and keys for safe keeping. Holds 6 shotgun shells right on the front. I only bought the 600R rated boots and they worked great. We tracked through heavy brush, sticker vines, etc and the waders held up flawlessly. I highly recommend these. As far as size goes I normally wear a size 10.5-11 in men’s shoes and ordered the 10. They are a little big but no excessive. ... show more

man, what great hi-back chest waders!! the reviews helped me, {like always} I got my shoe size,{I used to get one size larger for the extra pair of wool socks} but, DO NOT DO THIS! as the boot sizes are for u. s. man what a great body-fit! it's like I was the model for these waders! the other big brand names do not come close!! very nice extra is the waist belt that comes with the waders! there are no belt loops to use, so just make sure you thread the belt through the hand warmer pocket in front. the shoulder straps adjust great so you never run out of adjustments. my best to the folks at TIDE-WE! ... show more

I got these waders new for the season, I hunt mostly flooded timber down south and they seem to be doing well even hitting sharp branches underwater. I wear a shoe size of 11.5 and went with size 11 boot and they are perfect. Thick socks will fill the boots out and make long walks a bit easier and more comfortable. Pay attention to the size chart, get it right the first time. Fairly warm although my coldest morning here was low 30s so far. Only complaint would be I wish I could make the straps tighter, they are solid but I’m a skinny guy and they only have so much room to tighten. Update 4/16/2020 - These waders made it through duck season, kept me warm most days, but most importantly kept me dry. From walk in hunts to blinding up the boat they held up. The straps never became a major issue but I would buy another pair if they came out with the exact wader with improved shoulder straps. - 4/16/2020 ... show more

I wanted to wait until the end of the season to give these a review. I Freelance Duck Hunt anywhere I can. I’ve been hard on mine, they’ve been with me in the sloughs trudging through briars and thick brush, in the marshes of Southeast Louisiana wading thigh deep suction cup mud, traversing flooded timber, and 6 hour Kayak trips down the river hunting woodies. You cannot beat these for the price, mine have no leaks, and still function just as well as they did the first day I used them. They keep me dry and they keep me warm( may vary depending on your conditions). My only complaint is that some of the stitching around the knees is a little loose/has become unwound(happened after first use). Besides this they are very durable. ... show more

You get what you pay for with hunting gear (much like anything else). I used these last season for duck hunting, when I went though it wasn't particularly cold so I can't say how effective they are at handling cold weather but they did keep me warm. They don't come with a lot bells and whistles, but they are waterproof because after a couple of hours in some shallow water around mid thigh I was still nice and dry. I'm not an avid hunter, I only go two or three times a year so I can't say how well they will hold up if you plan on going daily over an extended period of time. ... show more

this is my third pair of these waders, i use my waders alot for duck hunting and fishing- my last pair split at the seam in the back of the boot a rather unusual place for that to happen. the rest of the waders are in good shape. the one complaint about everyones waders is that the boots are made of very inferior material and they fall apart and leak at the foot. i have several pairs of waders around i could wear except for the cracks all over the boot feet. as a result of this defective material i buy a pair of waders every two years. it sucks! if these manufactures could find someone to make a boot foot out of good material they would have a a corner on the market. ... show more
