These worked for my sons first duck hunt. They are very basic and lack features found on most waders, such as D rings, shell holders, pockets etc. However, they did not leak.

This did not get 5 stars only because of the slight lack of durability with the stitching and the upper pocket could have been a bit bigger. The stitching in some areas started to come loose after 1 morning out duck hunting. Not horrible but it did in some areas where the stitch started and/or stopped. I used permatex ultra black for all my wader and waterproof outerwear fixes. I used this in the areas that the stitching was coming loose. These now are almost a perfect wader for kids. I wish that TIDEWE would glue all the stitching and seams on the outside as well as the inside. I would GLADLY pay the extra money for this feature. Spending a few extra bucks to make the product hands down 5 stars would be well worth it. ... show more

I have a pair that is one year old and a new pair. Both worked great last weekend opening day of duck season.No complaints from the kids. I hope they last but I usually don't get more than two years out of a pair of neoprene hunting waders anyway. We like them a lot.

These are my first chest waders and they are amazing! I’m 5’3” and couldn’t find women’s waders short enough - these were just the right size. The size chart is perfect, and the boots are bigger than expected which is perfect for wearing thicker socks. I wore them with only leggings underneath and was plenty warm in 50-degree weather cruising in an open skiff, then sitting in camp after dark. My only suggestion is to buy some thick felt insoles for warmth, to fill up the boot space, and to make the boot bottoms a little stiffer so you don’t feel all the rocks when you’re walking. These are made for children and the fit was very good however I feel that extremely warm insulation in wader boots is even more important for children than it is for adults. If they get to cold that pretty much ends the hunt and if not it takes the fun right out of it for the youth. I feel like this company is on the right track but just needs to make a few improvements. My 5 year old grandson son didn't complain on our duck hunt but, after 28 years of wearing waders these were my observations. I felt that some extra reinforcement on the knees would also be a plus.
