    • Easy to use and gets harsher smells out of clothes
I am not always a fan of the pods in general. I think they are a little more expensive than the standard liquid and I used to think they didn’t really get items clean. I picked up a box of these exact pods from Sam’s Club (where they are sometimes cheaper than Amazon) because they had the Oxi in them. I had a family member who has interstitial cystitis and sometimes the clothing needs a little more than standard cleaning. Anyone who suffers from this will understand. These pods are the ONLY thing I have found to get the smell out of the clothing without having to soak first or apply an additional cleaner to the clothing. It has a pleasant “clean” smell I don’t mind either. In addition, if you or someone you know, has any dexterity issues, these come in handy. If there are no children or pets in the home, you can leave the lid off and just reach in to grab the number you need. No trying to twist the lid off and on like the liquid. If it gets knocked over, the liquid doesn’t spill everywhere. I still use the liquid as well and save these for my barn clothes or heavy dog smelling items. I have had, one time, where the pod did not dissolve at all and was still solid. I didn’t realize it and it ended up in the dryer with some Clothes. I pulled it out and saw a blue stain in my eggshell camisole and thought it was ruined. Threw it in the wash again and it all came out perfect. Now I do watch for that just in case ... show more

What else can I say that the title does not decry? These things are amazing. Not only that, but they replace the pouring, measuring, and all that other silly nonsense required of wet or dry detergent. The smell doesn't bother me, because I partner this with some Downy Unstoppable Fresh scented beads, and my laundry comes out perfect, and smells fantastic! I sometimes will boost the detergent power by adding some Borax as well (not soda ash), which balances pH perfectly so the reagents in the detergent can do their thing; it's also a fantastic disinfectant. Can't stress this enough, these pods are completely worth it. --- Final, personal note: You only really need one pod per load as long as you're not using an industrial washer packed to the brim. The instructions say two, but if you partner this with something like Borax, even industrial sized loads only need 1 pod and 1/4C Borax. ... show more

    • Great price for this many pods, and the product works really well.
We decided to try this product after listening to a “Revisionist History” podcast episode that was all about cleaning products, cold water and such. Now we’re using cold water, using less power, and our clothes are wonderfully clean and fresh.

    • The smell means clean
Tide is a little pricier the other brands of laundry detergent but our family realized how much value that extra $$ adds. We had been using another brand for a year or so and thought our clothing were getting clean. With the other brand, clothes never smelled bad but they never smelled good either. One shopping trip l, the store was out of the other brand so I purchased a small bottle of Tide and the difference was remarkable. The next day I came to Amazon and ordered a container of the pods.     • Got here quickly and it’s Tide so it works.
We are a Tide family, my mom was a Tide user and I’ve never seen a reason to change. And I like the oxy clean because my son sauna everything he wears.. Generally I pick up the pods when we need them or I see a good sale at Costco or Target. During the early pandemic nothing was on sale and for some reason I was having a hard time finding the oxyclean pods, but it was on Amazon and at a good price so I picked it up. It’s tide pods so it works fine. I’ll go back to price shopping Costco and the big box stores but now I have an extra option. ... show more

    • Good Cleaning
I have allergies. I did not stop using the product, though, because they are handy and I like the way they wash. The detergent, stainfighting, and softener are packaged in a measured amounts in plastic that dissolves. I would worry about children, but the container has a safety top, and I don't have children. They look pretty enough to eat although there are clear warnings. The little squares clean well, and I have used this product since it came out. I have never had a problem with the little packages sticking to clothing, sheets, etc. You may have to follow the instructions and place the little square in first, then the clothes. The instructions are clear on this., but I cannot take the strong scent. I won't buy more because I can't find unscented, amd the product set off my sinus allergies. ... show more

Whenever I am able to catch these on sale, I buy them. I never buy Tide pods unless they are on sale because they are expensive, especially when I wash clothes EVERYDAY. And we go through these quickly. I can never have enough,. If you use, 2 a load or sometimes, more, depending on the item(s) you need to clean, it makes a difference in a front loader and your liquid detergent.
