This is a nice quick connect / disconnect kit. The quality seems good. I highly recommend getting the proper crimping tool. I know some folks use pliers to crush the connector onto the wire. The crimping tool makes attaching the connector to the wire easy and more importantly a solid connection. The kit has various sizes to cover most homeowner type use cases. The container is nice, they connect well and crimp well…. But they definitely are not quick release. If you try to disconnect everything comes apart except for the connection.

I needed some spade connectors larger than what I already had. I opted for an assortment for various larger wire sizes. I am very pleased with what I received. They are not the flimsy ones that I typically find. I have a high quality ratcheting crimper, but it did not accomodate these larger size connectors, so I pulled out my manual crimper. I am quite strong and it took all I had to get the job done. I am not complaining, they crimped perfectly. Now I get to buy a new ratcheting crimper! Don't tell me wife. LOL! ... show more

    • Doesn't bite down on the wires very well.

Hard to crimp and doesn't hold the wires securely. I had to use multiple pieces and really clamp with the wire tool to get it to hold. Bottom line, I'm sure there are other connectors that would work easier.
