My daughter is 7 years old and she was very happy and excited when she got it. Then she brought it to her summer camp, all the consulars loved it as well and going to get one as well. Even myself had some fun with it. It is a kids camera with printing function with different kind of settings. You can set it as automatic printing or you can just only take pictures and go to album to print it out. There is storage space and there is no hidden fee. This is extremely cute and clever--the thermal paper should theoretically never require ink, the little markers for adding color are a cute touch, as are the twine and the little clothespins. The elephant feels good in the hand and the camera was intuitive to use and printing was immediate. Adding the paper was also easy. However, there is a lanyard included and a spot in the top that is clearly intended to attach the lanyard to. When you attempt to thread the line through the hole though instead of going out the other hole so you can hook it through and secure it, it just sinks down into the belly of the camera. You can’t access that area through the printing panel. I used a safety pin and spent 15 minutes trying to attach it then passed it along to my husband who managed to get it through after about 7 minutes with a paperclip. It’s kind of a heavy camera and kids lose things, so I had a strong desire to have that lanyard on there and it was exceedingly difficult to attach. We used this camera during a kids birthday party and it did not disappoint. I opened it right before using it and had no problem getting it going. Something about the first few prints being blurry but after that they were fine. Pictures are reminiscent of the old school photo booths. Included a lot of extras I was not expecting, stickers, fun lanyard, clothes pin display that we used that day. Battery lasted the whole party, almost 2 whole rolls and was still half way charged. The media could not be loaded. Wow! The printing is super clear, photo is super great pixel, and they give us a lot of photo papers and color pens and stickers and some clips to make photo wall too!! My son super happy 😄!!!
