Very nice harness and leash set. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the seat buckle clip on leash. It's in an odd place maybe? When walking my dog he jumps every time it hits him. The band isn't strong enough to hold it in place. Just my opinion.

I got my dog an XL. He is half pit bull and half Siberian husky. So he’s a bigger dog and a little fluffy. I measured him before purchasing and even though the measurements matched up with the size XL I most definitely could’ve gone with a large. I adjusted the straps and it helped with the sizing for the most part. It still works for him which is great. As far as the sturdiness, my dog is strong in the chest and likes to run. I notice as we were just walking, by the clip for the leash, it makes a little noise and it scares me that one day it might break. I have had this happen before so that is one of my fears. I don’t want to have him wear both a collar and harness. He is getting older so I just want to strictly use a harness for safety on his neck. The leash is terrible for a bigger dog. It’s very weak. I ended up using my dogs leash which is fine because I prefer that one but I wanted to try out the leash it came with and it’s too thin and the threading is already loose at the sides. It was like that when delivered. I tested it once just walking to my mail box and it was too weak. Besides the fact that the harness is making a noise that makes me fear it might snap, I do like the harness. It gives my dog more control and safety. I also don’t like the front leash ring that prevents pulling because it just moves the harness to the side and kind of shifts everything and chokes him a little bit. I will continue to try it out and see how long it lasts and update my review. It is great for the price and what it is but maybe steer clear if you have a bigger stronger/muscular built dog. Honestly I will use this harness but keep looking for something else in the meantime. I just don’t feel this was meant for bigger dogs that like to run or are just very active in general. I don’t think it’ll uphold those activities very long. ... show more

My dog is about 70lbs (pitbull) and gets so excited when he hears the word “ walk “ he tries to fly out the door as soon as it opens ! I like the fact that this dog harness has a handle so I was able to hold onto the harness and prevent him from flying out the living room door and car door 😂😂 . The dog harness came with a collar & leash ! The dog harness seems very well made . I just recently purchased one for my female dog that weighs about the same ! The media could not be loaded. I really want to love this but can't. I love the IDEA of the locks, but honestly I've never had my clips come loose. It I'd incredibly easy to slip on, which is great. I like the handle but it isn't very sturdy compared to others. My bigger issue is I have tightened the front the most I can and it is still loose on my Husky. The waist fits fine and has a lot of tightening room. If I go smaller it wouldn't fit her waist. The reason the loose front is an issue is my huskybhas been able to get out of her harness. This was incredibly scary as it happened in the dark while camping. We had been cleaning up and getting kids in camper while she was getting a few more minutes outside. She got free but harness was still clipped and connected to her chain. I strongly believe if the front fit better this wouldn't be an issue. Looking for a Husky in the dark during quiet hours at a new campground hours from our home is not something I wish on anyone! I was worried I had lost my girl but thankfully found her. ... show more
