These are so much better for a restful night's sleep than the rigid wrist brace I wear all day. I've ordered a second Cure Care brace so I can rotate them for washing. MY Initial PROBLEM was due to the construction/stitching in the area of the web between the thumb and forefinger. It irritated that sensitive area ( my wife says it appears to be the only sensitivity she's detected in 27years of marriage.) Solution was simple and inexpensive -- I ordered some large waterproof adhesive bandages. They protect the thumb wedge area and stay on for 2 or 3 days. on Amzon). The media could not be loaded. It looked, really small when I took it out of the packaging, but to my surprise if it fit really well. I also like that you can adjust the thumb portion with the velcro strap.

It is a okay brace at best for the cheaper price. It doesn't really stop your wrist from bending back and forth but it does brace your thumb pretty well, which is what I bought it for. I also have a smaller wrist and hand, and it doesn't fit super well on me. I have to tighten it a considerable amount around the wrist for it to feel snug. This warps the brace a bit and the tightness makes it feel a little uncomfortable. But it is bearable. The wrap around the thumb kind of cuts off my circulation no matter how loose I make it (without making it completely loose). This is only after a few minutes of wearing. For it to not cut off my circulation I have to tense my thumb straight. Which you would hope it would do for you. But when I relax my hand and thumb it starts to go cold and numb. I think it's just poor structure. Overall, it's fine if you're on a budget. But I don't think it's quality at all and wouldn't buy again. The wrist brace I bought from target for a similar price is leagues better than this. ... show more

So the reason I got it was because I broke my thumb. It stabilized my thumb very well and it has a little bit of padding so if something touches my thumb I'm not crying. It also has padding on my palm below my thumb and that helps so I highly recommend it if you also are looking for comfort with a broken thumb. ... show more
