My Logitech shifter was going out on me so I replaced it with this TH8S shifter. This was 100% worth every penny. It got here in one day. My PC recognized it instantly and it was ready to play. My Eaton fuller shifter knob installed onto it very easily and it actually feels more snug and better than it did on the logitech.. And the shifting feels heavier and more realistic than on the logitech. And the fact that it has a 7th gear and its own reverse gear make it a no brainer. If you're debating on this one or the Logitech just pick this one up. You won't regret it. ... show more

    • So much better than the generic ebay shifters
This shifter is a lot smoother than an ebay shifter that's only a little bit cheaper, and it's also alot more durable. My ebay shifter had a few of the gates fall off, making it go from 1st to 3rd and so on so forth, making it useless. This shifter not only has stronger gates, but also doesn't require as much force to put into gear, so it should last for years and not months. It would have been nice to have a standard threaded rod to put another shift knob or even just have the option for a ball knob but the one included is great in the hand. Not sure about Logitech compatibility, but it works perfect with my T300 in every game except Forza Horizon 4, which also won't let me bind my handbrake either. But it works with Forza Horizon 5, Assetto Corsa, CarX, and BeamNG flawlessly. ... show more

    • Feels a bit cheap but then again it was fairly cheap
It feels a bit plasticy especially because the gated part is plastic(which is hard to tell from the internet) so it doesn't really make a good sound when shifting. It also makes my cheap desk shake and wobble with every shift but that's not this things fault. Still good enough considering the alternative is to spend $200 or whatever for the more expensive thrustmaster shifter. It's basically nothing more or less than what I expected other than I thought that MAYBE the gated part of the shifter was metal but oh well I guess that was just wishful thinking. ... show more

It works perfectly in Beamng and other games just as it says good for $70 I wish I knew how to modify the shifter to make the head look cooler I just don’t know what to buy for it.

I am having lots of fun with it, was super simple to set up sometimes you might need to unplug and plug in for Forza but besides that not complaints, This is my first ever shifter so I don't have anything to compare it to but it does feel semi-real life and very good price

    • Cheap and broke after 2 months
I had high hopes for the Thrustmaster TH8S Shifter Add-On, but sadly, it turned out to be an absolute disaster. For something marketed as a “premium” product, it didn’t even last two months before it broke completely. At first, it seemed decent – it connected fine, and the shifting felt okay. But within weeks, the shifter started to misregister gears, which was annoying but manageable. Then, out of nowhere, it just stopped working entirely. No response, no power – just a useless plastic brick. For something advertised as compatible with multiple consoles and PC, you’d think durability would be a given. Not so! I babied this thing, too – no slamming gears, no rough treatment – and it still failed. ... show more
