I'm picky about sheets. After the first wash they're stiff and wrinkled like a newspaper but soft. I washed them in downy no detergent. Rinse n dry. They are as soft as if they were a few yrs old. I prefer cotton sheets so was happy to receive this set. The fabric feels good and they looked nice. I washed them and dried them (on low). The pockets are deep, as described, but the top of the pocket that is supposed to fit the top of the mattress was sewn too far so it is impossible to get the corners to lay properly. Each corner of the sheet has a "point" that will not lay flat no matter how tight you pull the sheet under the mattress. ... show more
