👋💬 INTRO: I occasionally need new pillowcases, it’s just a fact. I like the previous ones I’ve bought and they’ve served me well after so many nights and washings, but there’s always new technologies and features coming out in new pillowcase offerings which I wanted to check out. I always get stopped by the phrases “100% Egyptian Cotton” and “high thread count” and I guess I’ve somewhat been conditioned to look for one or both of those phrases when shopping for a new pillowcase. I generally know what it means without truly knowing what it means until I experience it. So when I saw these pillowcases were also “breathable” (another important feature to me), I had to check them out. • 📦 So, what’s in the package? ◦ 📋 1 x Set of 2 King-Bed Sized 100% Egyptian Cotton Pillow Cases • 📣 Tell me about it & 👀 WHAT DO I THINK? 🧠 (My first thoughts & impressions) ◦ 📰 These arrived in an orange, yellow, and white box with the brand name, description, and features shown on the outside of the box. Inside, the pillowcases were not wrapped in anything but were paired and folded together. In-between the sheets was a long, rectangular paper door hangtag with a thank you message from the manufacturer. The sheets were clean, very smooth and soft, had a nice white color, and were very generously-sized for a king-size pillow. I could see and feel the quality of the construction and all of the very neat stitching, and the fabric itself had a good weight and thickness to it, and this is what I prefer in a pillowcase anyway. ◦ 📰 I washed and used these the very first night they arrived and could tell definitely the difference from my old set: these were a treat and certainly a bit heavier and more luxurious, silkier, smoother, softer, and somehow a little cooler too (and I could tell because I am a hot sleeper). ◦ 📰 The brand’s attention to detail is evident in the quality construction and neat stitching of the pillowcases, which I never really pay that close attention to usually. Their size and fit were perfect for me and my pillows. Now I wonder if my pillows are worthy of them… ☺ 👍👎 IS IT WORTH IT? (What’s the value for the money) • 💰 I don’t think I could have beaten this price for the quality, high thread count, and fantastic softness that I got. These are a great value. • 💰 Compared to others, these pillowcases excel in attention to detail in their construction, quality of the fabric, comfort, and durability, making them a worthwhile investment to me. 📊⚙️ PERFORMANCE & USER FRIENDLINESS (Did it work & was it easy to use) • 🧐 There’s no maintenance other than machine washing and drying them. I simply did that then slipped them onto my pillows right before I went to bed for the night. • 🧐 The fabric was a delightful combination of smoothness and breathability, which is a happy relief for someone like me who tends to overheat at night. • 🧐 The “envelope closure” gave me a snug fit, and the reversible design added versatility to my bedding. • 🧐 These pillowcases are designed to resist pilling, fading, and shrinkage. They did retain their vibrant color and shape after one wash and are supposed to continue that trend. However, they do and will wrinkle slightly due to the natural properties of cotton, and that’s ok with me. 🔑✨ KEY FEATURES PROs & CONs (What did I like & dislike) • ✔️ The high thread count and sateen weave of the Egyptian cotton created a pillowcase that has a silky-smooth texture, great for a luxurious-like (my) sleep experience. • ✔️ They are generously sized to fit king-size pillows with ease, and the neat stitching for a perfect fit and elegant feel, adding to their durability. • ✔️ I think that the heavyweight and opulent feel of the pillowcases resemble those found in 5-star hotel bedding. • ✔️ I mean, come on. High-quality breathable, soft fabric, good size, great construction, and machine washable? That’s a winning combination to me. I am glad I got these! • ❌ While they’re labeled as shrink-resistant, the only downside is they do wrinkle a bit after washing, but I could easily iron them or use those dryer balls if I needed to. 🔍✅ SUMMARY & CONCLUSION: These pillowcases were a great find and have been a fantastic addition to my bedroom. I always judge the next set of pillowcases I get to my current (and soon to be previous) ones, and I am glad I could tell and appreciate the difference with these and how well-made they are. I was impressed with how soft and comfortable they are and I adore them. They certainly check a lot of boxes with the standard AND premium features I look for in a pillowcase. After all, considering that I’ve heard and read that the average person spends a great of time and a lot of their life sleeping, it follows that it should be a comfortable and positive experience. Sleep bedding and accessories are always an individual and personal experience based on your own experiences and preferences. So for me, finding these was greatly beneficial and rewarding. I highly recommend giving these a try. If you’re in search of premium pillowcases that offer comfort and a hint of luxury, then treat yourself to upgraded comfort and indulge in the softness of these worthwhile Egyptian cotton pillow cases. ... show more

Purchased a target set for $50 and they are just as soft. Both are not nearly as soft as a Marriot hotel or anything. This set is Not worth the price.

I could take several photos of these white sheets but it's not going to help you feel them. These are the nicest sheets I've ever had my hands on. They do have some weight on them and would probably be better in the winter or for cold people but the quality is phenomenal. I've spent nearly 3x as much on sheets that aren't half this quality. 2 stand out things for me is this set comes with 4 pillow cases, which is a big deal especially when you have a king bed. The other thing is the thick and well made band on the fitted sheet. The fitted sheet isn't going anywhere. I'll stress this again, if you are a hot sleeper, heavy cotton sheets (this has a brushed cotton feel to it) isn't going to be very cooling. You need either percale or a different material all together. However, you're not going to get this beyond luxurious, high end feel with those other styles/ materials of sheet. I'll be keeping an eye on these next time I buy sheets and hope they add more colors. In particularly soft/ muted colors or cottage colors like sage, moss/olive, and linen. I have gotten so frustrated with trying to find decent quality sheets. Many claim to be high quality and I'm left disappointed. This set is the real deal. The material has heft and quality. It washes up beautifully. After a few test washings, it's gotten softer without looking worn or showing any signs of pilling. I washed it in a heavy duty wash cycle with medium setting for the spin cycle. They came out with minimal wrinkles after drying in a normal dry cycle. It feels crisp and breathable in the bed. I'm so happy to have found a brand that lives up to their quality claim. This set fit my pillow top king size mattress very easily and stays firmly in place with a nice, wide elastic edging. The flat sheet is ample enough to cover both sides of the mattress, and the pillow cases were easy to put on my very plump king size pillows. They are cool for sleeping and become more comfortable with each washing. I'm happy to have found a brand that lives up to their product description. ... show more

I'm picky when it comes to my bedsheets. I can't stand anything that's not 100% cotton. Any other materials don't breath and subsequently I don't sleep well. All of my sheets are somewhat expensive sets because I buy 100% cotton high thread count sheets. I'm not going to discuss at length some of the ridiculously high and unrealistic thread count claims here. I look for something above 400 and I will feel the sheets because that can give me a better idea of quality than some overinflated thread count number based on some tiny weak threads. I got this set free for writing a review so I figured it was worth the risk of not being able to feel them first. They are as nice and soft as any other sheet set I own. They are thicker than any other sheets of mine but I didn't have any issue with them feeling hot at night. As a comparison the material feels like the Pima cotton material that some of my dress shirts are made of. Definitely would recommend these. ... show more
