I read all of the reviews and people said the product was perfect for their child/grandchild. Thank you to all of you who took the time to review this product because it helped me determine if this was a good product. I was a little nervous because I was afraid it would be too flimsy, but it held up GREAT as both my grandson and all of the aunts and uncles climbed in it! There is no bottom on it so my 3 year old grandson stood up inside of it and walked around the backyard. It was the funniest thing to see these little legs under the train. People say a big cardboard box is the best toy to give a child....this train is on that same "track" :) ... show more

Ordered this so my Grandson would have something to play in at my house. Since there is not a bottom to it I moved it to a carpeted place. Waiting to buy a big, fluffy pillow so he can be comfy. He is 2 years old We like to read books in there and yes Grandma can fit in the caboose! Ha Ha So easy to put up but haven't taken it down having not had it long. Well made and I highly recommend it. If i could give zero starts i would. I am very disappointed with this purchase. It will not stay up keeps collapsing on its own, product came in bent and with tearing on the inside. My toddler gets very upset due to it not staying up. I do not recommend this product.

For the price, I wish it was a little sturdier. I have boys. They’re wild. If they climb inside, they immediately rip the Velcro support piece in the front of the train off and soon after, the front of tent collapses on them during their shenanigans. The tent itself seems pretty durable. It hasn’t ripped or torn on us. And when I say my boys are rough on toys, I mean it. The smoke stack only stayed attached the first day we got it. Once we stored it for a few days, it wouldn’t unbend the same anymore. And storing it.: HA. My husband and I have both looked at those instructions a hundred times. We cannot get it to fold down how it’s supposed to (hence the smoke stack being bent). It opens up like a loose cannon, but fitting it back into the storage back is near impossible. We keep ours folded down, but it’s in the full shape still- not compacted down into the circle again. ... show more

Bought this for my 3 year old nephew who's completely obsessed with everything train related, and especially Thomas the Train! Seeing the smile on his face when we opened this up and it popped open immediately, was worth 10x what I paid for it! He played with it non stop for 3 days, and when he was done playing he would put all his toys inside of it, which was a nice touch, since that way my brother didn't have to pick up after him! lol ... show more

We were lucky to have the original Thomas train tent as a hand-me-down that my child played with for 4 years. It has ripped so we needed a new one, and I bought this thinking it was a direct replacement. It is not. The train doesn't sit flat on the floor. The "wheels" raise it off floor, so there is a gap. The door gap doesn't close without pulling the flaps together real hard. It's very difficult to Velcro the door to bottom. The old train tent had mesh so you could see inside it, but this new one does not. Kids could look out the cab out of mesh windows. This doesn't have that. The dimensions are listed as the same, but this one seems smaller on inside. Folding this tent is hard. I just told it flat and put against the wall. ... show more
