  • An entertaining book for the Bro's
A very colorful and entertaining book. ^_^ I enjoy books like this one that aren't "real" books with just words in them. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy reading a good book, but, I also enjoy fun books that are mostly pictures with funny phrases or "quotes" in them. This is also the first book I have ever purchased/own from a YouTube star, especially from one of my favorites. I admire PewDiePie's book being different from the other YouTube stars that have been coming out this year since most of theirs are autobiographies about themselves, which is interesting but I find it kind of boring after a while. Plus I get the humor with what this book has, unlike some people taking it seriously when it's really not meant to be serious at all. At least that's what I understand from my P.O.V. Luckily I managed to buy my copy of the book for a real low price (and in great condition too) since I bought it as a "used" item here on Amazon.com. So all in all it wasn't a bad pay. It was worth it for my sister and I to enjoy it because we're both fans of him. ^_^ No matter what people say, I love Pewd's first book. :3 P.S. I love the new book smell it came with. xD ... show more

  • Please Read: Book is meant to be poking fun!
Alright, this book has a lot of high and low points but I'm going to tell you now: This book is MEANT to make fun of those "inspirational quotes", not to actually BE them. And to parents that want to get this book for your kid, ask yourself this: Are they in High School? Then buy it. And if your child buys it for themselves don't confiscate it. Parents are blind to what goes on in younger society and I can say that once you hit high school your innocence is pretty much gone, same with your filter. My recommended age group however, is 16 to about 20. This book really is meant to target teens because it's basically a slap of reality. I've been suffering with depression for a long time, and I've read this book during my low points to pick me back up (if you can believe that, then keep reading). The jokes are meant to poke fun at how there are inspirational quotes all over the Internet, and yet most people don't do anything past making a pretty quote on paper. The book itself is basically like a huge joke, and the with an ending like "I lied" I would hope that many would see that. This book is not anymore of a joke than those "journal" books (that I've done so many of in attempts to keep my depression in check). Sure it's not what you expect, but it really is a pleasant book when you understand it on a basic level as humor and a cool play on irony. Buy at your own risk, if you're not ready to handle a slap in the face by reality kids then don't take it. If you're an adult buying for a child check it out at a local bookstore first, or just buy it as I said and let them experience it. //my two personal favorite quotes are in the pictures ... show more

  • Picture book, not a story book.
This book is amazing. However, I was a bit dissapointed to receive it because Pewdiepie always promoted it as just a “book” so I always assumed it was a book he wrote about his life and such. It is not that. It is a picture book with funny quotes in them. The book is genuinely funny and I was very surprised looking through it and enjoyed every moment of it. I won’t give this a lower rating for the misunderstanding because it was not the books fault and it is of nice quality with lamenent pages and everything. If you are looking for a good, hilarious time, give this book a try! If you are looking for a book about the development of Pewdiepies career like I was, you may want to look somewhere else. ... show more

  • If you're a Pewdiepie fan, it's worth the money.
Very entertaining and quick read. Good coffee table book to have to brighten your day or give you a good laugh. The witticism reminded me a lot of Bo Burnham. His book "Egghead" had a similar humor: sarcastic shorts with a unexpected twist at the end of each part. I am only giving 4 stars because I found it repetitive at some parts, but overall I enjoyed it. The visuals were fantastic; Pewds's past as a visual designer in photoshop really shined through. Good job Pewds. Brofist. ... show more

  • It's supposed to be funny, it's supposed to be ironic. It is both
This book is sardonic, sarcastic & funny. Im a divorced parent, this book was a gift to my son and was one of the only books he took to his Dad's. It is also a book both use 'play on worrds' and snap back to eachother. He read a few of the pages out load, and it is our kind of humour. We did outmr own play on words, I write comedy, music and merchandise like this, sonit is fun to use (for me ) to have open lines of communication. It's a fun thing to use to connext with a teen who gets this kind of humor, my younger son in middle school also joined in on making fun of these kinds of posts. It was also one of the only books my son took when he went back to his father's. Id say it's worth it. ... show more

  • Truly Life Changing
My life was terrible before this book. I was born with glass bones and paper skin. Every morning I broke my legs, and every afternoon I broke my arms. At night, I would lie awake in agony until my heart attacks put me to sleep. The medical bills are extremely high and the only thing I can do to pay them is read this book and pretend they don't exist. I've been kicked out of the hospital because of my failure to pay the bills and my piss poor attitude about chocolate. I always hated it and the nurses kept bringing it to me. This book is the only thing I own and I stole it from a twelve year old girl in between my hourly heart attacks. I hope this review will show you just how truly inspirational, moving, and life changing this book... No, this work of art genius really is. I thank you Pewdiepie for blessing the world with first your existence, and now your beautiful book. The most epic of brofists Stay awesome ... show more
