I originally bought the white option to toggle lighting in the kitchen using on my home assistant server with zigbee stick. It worked phenomenally setup was easy and gives options for click, double click, hold, and release, so you can configure quite a few automatons with the one button. I bought the rest of the colors for more automatons and to adjust rgb color for the lighting, of course yellow is green but what can you do. Bought a few of these for my windows, and they paired very easily with Hubitat. The included double-sided tape has held well so far, and as for battery life, they're still at 100% after being installed for about 4-5 months, including one that is installed on a door that gets much more traffic. After trying a few of these remote buttons, this one paired and worked great with my smartthings hub. A great product and uses 2 aaa batteries that will outlast any of the ones that use the coin cells. Small footprint also!

    • Large Zigbee button that works... most of the time.

These are large buttons, very large compared to other ZigBee buttons. That is mainly due to the fact that they run off 2 AAA batteries instead of thin CR batteries. I was using Lutron Connect buttons prior but these aren't officially supported on SmartThings so I wanted something that actually works natively with ST. These buttons fit the bill. They were easy to pair with ST and assigning the specific lights was a breeze. For the most part the buttons work as expected. Single, double and long presses work however every so often the button stops working. The only way to resolve it is to remove the back, pop out and back in one of the batteries. Once complete the button starts working again. This is annoying but is made easier because they supply a mag strip or 3m strip for the back so mounting and removing the button is simple. I'd give it 5 stars if the button was smaller and didn't have the random disconnects. ... show more

I bought these because I have the Third Reality light switches and I love those. The multicolor three-pack of these buttons was on sale, so I went for it. At first they were great--except Google can't find them at all. I don't use Google for much, so I accepted that. The bigger problem is that Alexa doesn't recognize them as buttons, but as doorbells, and then only for single press. That annoyed me, since they're supposed to work with Alexa. I did get them recognized in Smarthings, though, for all three types of presses--single, double and hold. I programmed in a couple simple automations to the blue one, and figured, oh well, they weren't too expensive. Then I kept having to reprogram it constantly. Eventually, Alexa couldn't find it anymore, then one day it just stopped working. I tried resetting it, changing the batteries, but nothing worked. The little led light won't light up. It's totally dead, and it only lasted maybe a month. I set up the yellow one, and it's still working after a couple months, but I don't trust it. I'm always expecting it to not work, and it's not showing up in Alexa anymore, so I figure it's only a matter of time. The red one is still in the box, since I don't see the point of going to all the trouble of getting it set up, only for it to fail. I wish they worked reliably, since all other smart buttons out there are so expensive, but I guess if I'm going to do what I'm wanting to do, they may be my only option. Works perfectly with Hubitat's "button controller" app. It's three function. It's small, inexpensive and easy. But because of it's small size it's hard to find a place to even label it for its functions. It's half the price and size on Minostone's 4 button 16 function which is also good. It works. I just wish it looked better but I'll take function over form for now. Only downside besides the appearance is the double-tap option which often doesn't register properly unless you slowly double tap.

This works great as a zigbee generic button with SmartThings, but I find the button not as clicky as other buttons. Sometimes when I press the button I don't know if I'm pressing it all the way and sometimes it doesn't register due to this. Otherwise. this is a great button and runs on AAA batteries which are better than coin batteries found in other similar devices. ... show more
