I keep my keys on a carabiner on my belt loop and adding these to that, changed my life for the better. No more trying to find a place to keep reading glasses, either dangling around my neck, or in a pocket that they inevitably fall out of. These are easy to whip on when I need to read an ingredient label at the store or a menu at a restaurant, and conveniently stored til next time, when I'm done. Recommend wholeheartedly. I think they are pretty scratch resistant, but I managed to get a deep scratch on one lens by folding them up wrong on putting them away. Lesson learned, but they still work. Also, comfortable for short uses but since they grip my nose bridge with little teeth, wouldn't want to try wearing them for hours. They are still leagues better than reading glasses hanging around my neck or falling out of my shirt pocket and having 10 pairs but never being able to find one. This is my second pair of these glasses and I love them. they look light and flimsy but they are far from flimsy.at first you worry about them falling off your face and getting damaged. They are certainly going to fall off occasionally especially when you are trying to find your sweet spot on your nose to place them in the beginning but they won't get damaged. I would suggest you NOT wear them while using the restroom. Had last pair for almost a year i usually go through at least one pair a week of drugstore readers. ... show more

I bought two sets of these and keep them on my Lanyards for my driver's license and credit cards, along with the other one with my cell phone, and they are the absolute handiest reading glasses I have ever used. Extremely convenient to carry. I have 4 pairs purchased at different times. Keep one in the glove box of the car and one at office. The plastic lenses do get the "plastic rash" (scratches) over time making them less usable, one of my pairs is pretty much unusable. The nose pinch bridge (pince-nez) - which is the basis of these glasses is not very robust. They tend to break making the glasses unusable. Because of the minima/compact construction, the nose bridges stick out and tend to get stuck in things and break. Two of my pairs have broken nose bridges. Generally worth the money. ... show more

These are great for traveling, date night with your significant other, or while on an outdoor adventure where you won’t need to wear them for an extended period of time. In my opinion these are not designed to replace the typical reading glasses for everyday use as they are not very comfortable. Wanted something light and portable for detailed reading situations now that I’m middle age. This does the trick nicely and is well suited for travel. Because the lenses are polycarbonate they seem to get micro-scratches and pick up dust easily so be sure to use a lens cleaning cloth.
