It is perfect for setting by my above ground pool. Lots of empty cans, bottles and chips bags during the day. Now they are contained in one place. It is a bit flimsy but it is not made to be strong. It's an easy popup trash can. Love it!!!

    • Actually worked well dispite the thin plastic.....
I actually want to buy this product again. It's a little flimsy due to how its constructed, however, once you get a bit of trash it there, it stabilizes and wont blow away when someone breaths on it. I really like how compact it is. A lot of products can't get to their original small shape once its opened but the way this is designed, it's no problem and super easy. It fits perfectly with our camping gear without having to make extra room for something bulky. It collapses back to its original packaged form completely! Despite the thin plastic construction, the rim of the opening does a great job at holding the trash bag in place. The lid reduces flies and the base is a solid plastic piece so, for those of you who are like me and this sort of thing bothers you, the trash bag does not touch the ground directly, making it less messy to handle during transport to an actual disposal unit. I gave it only 4 stars because of how thin the plastic is and because once a trash bag is full, it can be difficult to remove from the frame without actually taking out one of the arms. ... show more

We have a great outdoor area, but not a lot of room for an outdoor trashcan. This was perfect. It is very easy to set up for a party and easy to store. I feel like it’s well-made.

Ours came broken, but we were able to rig it, so we didn't have the hassle of sending it back. It will work for light weight garbage, but I wouldn't overfill it as it is very cheap plastic. We only bought it for our camper so it will do fine for that.

This works well during our outdoor parties. When we’re finished it’s easy to disassemble for storing. I use a large black plastic bag since a 13 gallon kitchen trash bag was too small in length

Right out of the package one of the “hinge pins” was broken so it wouldn’t hold an empty bag very well let alone one with anything in it. Good premise but terrible design.

    • Super clutch for car camping! Made it feel more like glamping!
This trash can was a great addition to our weekend long camping trip. It totally beats finding some random branch to hang the trash bag on. Once we got some trash in it, it was more sturdy. Putting a rock on the base would also help keep it from tipping. You could also size up the trash bag from a 13 gallon to maybe a 15 gallon (if that exists?) and it would be perfect. I really like that the lid closes over the bag, which keeps the flies at a bearable level. They still try to find a way in to the trash bag, but they don't stick around the same way that they would if the bag was just open to the world. I would recommend this! It was essential, and made our car camping trip seem more like a glamping experience. ... show more
