  • No issues powering on my whole new setup.
Size: 600W Style: 80+ Gold
I just assembled a new system recently with a Ryzen 3600 and an RX5700XT. Works like a charm, haven't had any issues and I have a lot of stuff plug into the PC. 1 Nvme, 2 SATA SSD, 1 HDD. All 7 USB-A ports covered, and I'm even using the USB C port. Good PSU for the price.

  • 650W
Size: 650W Style: 80+ Bronze
I was honestly scared to purchase this because of all the mixed reviews but so far it’s been working great powering up my new PC build and it’s sooo quiet you can barley hear it and arrived fairly quickly. The only issue I had was that it got delayed in customs because the seller didn’t provide a shipping invoice but after I got that sorted it showed up in two days no dents or anything! Will update if anything goes wrong with it and how long it lasts but I would recommend it to a friend. ... show more

  • Good Quality
Size: 550W Style: 80+ Bronze
It was smaller than i thought originally. I appreciate the all black cables, no ketchup and mustard. Also the cables are flat, so cable management was much easier than if they were the round ones. Runs very quiet, easy to install, and provides power to components. Seems to be well built.

  • Works so far - No surprises
Size: 450W Style: 80+ Bronze
I got the 450w version of this delivered July 7, 2019. Install was no problem since I've done this before and know what I'm doing. Anyway, the thing worked out of the box and has continued to do so, no problem so far (knock on wood) for the past nearly 3 weeks. And it has been power cycled several times, so I think its a keeper. I was a bit confused at first by the lack of a 4-pin CPU power plug, but it turned out that the 8-pin one is really just two 4-pin ones slid together (and that can be easily separated into two 4-pin ones). If I have any complaint it is just that even the lowest model in this series (450w) is about 2x overkill, in terms of power, for the system I put this into. That system is just a chepie microATX motherboard with a low end i3 processor, onboard graphics and -one- low-end SSD. I probably could have gotten by with half the wattage but I wanted something well reviewed and with a five year warranty. But my beef is that this (450w) is the lowest model that Thermaltake makes in this series. I wish that they would make a 350w or even a 300w, and sell it a bit cheaper, because I *really* did not need anywhere near this much power. But this is the game nowadays when it comes to power supplies... the manufacturers force you to buy WAY more watts than you really need, which is annoying. Also, I'm not sure that I see the point in having 4x 4-pin Molex connectors anymore. I didn't need a single one of those. Thermaltake? Why not just give us 4x more SATA power connectors and include in the box a couple of SATA-to-Molex adapters for those rare souls who really need them? P.S. I also own a Thremaltake 550w supply which I use in a different system that has been on 24/7 for about 2+ years now with the TT power supply in it. No problems with that one so far either. ... show more

  • Will not catch fire but is very cheaply designed. SATA power cables need the utmost force to connect
Size: 700W Style: 80+ Gold
I’ll start off by saying the power supply works in the power supplying function but my god did they cheap out. If I spend an extra 30$ for a better model you would think that would equal higher quality right? Nope. The cords are ridiculously short and required a ton of janky fixes and work arounds just to reach my motherboard. I have a medium sized atx case, not big at all and every other PSU I have can reach the motherboard but this PSU seems to have been purposefully made to save as much as possible on cord length. Even when turned upside to give it more reach I could barely reach the CPU and MOBO power slots even when I did everything possible. The PCIE power has weird unnecessary extra plastic on the edges which makes it need to be forced into the GPU, and the SATA power cables are the worst I have ever encountered. The amount of force required to connect the hard drives to it was ridiculous and was enough to completely strip a pin on one of my hard drives. Thanks a lot thermaltake ... show more

  • Died in 2 months, otherwise it was great
Size: 600W Style: 80+ Gold
It was a great supply. I loved that I could choose to not install the extra cords. It was also very quiet and easy to install. But mine died after a couple of months. I opened it up so that I could maybe find a fuse and there was both no visible fuse nor any visible burn on the controller. Since I cracked it open, including the secret screw behind the sticker, I assume I broke the warranty, so I threw it away. I probably just had a factory defect and I could have swapped it under warranty had I not gone digging. ... show more

  • Good psu
Size: 600W Style: 80+ Gold
Have been running it for 4 days now and working great, makes little to no noise and at $85 is a good value for an 80+ Gold PSU, considering how high prices are right now

  • Burning smell and sporadic computer restarts after a few months
Size: 600W Style: 80+ Gold
Power supply was fine for 5-6 months, in the last few weeks my computer started restarting on its own up to twice a day. In the last few days I started smelling burning plastic and traced the smell back to this power supply. Switched it out with a 850w NZXT pus and computer now works reliably and no longer produces the burning odor. This was extremely frustrating and I cannot over emphasize my disappointment with Thermaltake for building such a crappy PSU (I see that others have had the same problems). 0/5 stars. ... show more
