First thing I'll mention is that I received a used/returned unit, which was very obvious. Everything was there and other than a label that was slightly peeling, it was a fully functioning working unit. I can't blame manufacturers for reselling all the stuff that's RMA'd due to inexperienced computer builders. I've used at least 3 of these in recent builds and all continue to work well after 9+ months. Only complaint is that some motherboards have two 12V EPS connectors (CPU) and this PSU only has one. In practice it makes no difference because most motherboard/CPU combos don't need the second connector, but it would be nice to have the second one installed. I love the sleeved multi-colored & ketchup/mustard wiring, it makes diagnosing PCs so much easier. Nothing worse than diagnosing all black wiring and having to look up connector pinouts to see which one is which. I use these PSUs for customers, and I don't like modular wiring because they might need to add something in the future, which in that case you'd have to leave the extra wires connected anyways for that purpose. I used to buy another brand for these types of builds (obviously these aren't high end gaming systems) that is no longer available, but this has been a great alternative for the price and has a gold efficiency rating. Has One 4pin jst connector. DOESNT have 6pin Sata for Optical (Had to buy a Sata 15pin to 6pin Adaptor on Amzn, for like $12). Standard dimensions for size. It's a high quality, easy to install power supply. The noise is very minimal to nonexistent. Easy connectivity as it's full modular. Appearance is nice and straightforward. Fits most cases with ease. Haven't had any problems with this power supply at all since purchased.

The original power supply in the Dell XPS 8930 was only 460 watts and so was not recommended for upgrading the GPU. Based on an Amazon review which said it was a tight fit I took a chance an bought this PS. I don't know if the 2024 version was different than the reviewer's but mine fit perfectly. The mounting screws aligned exactly. All the cabling is included but cables are a bit stiff and with all the connectors a bit bulky. It took a little trial and error to get them compact enough to close everything up but the additional power and connections made it worth the effort. It's very quiet. The original PS fan would power up frequently and make a lot of noise. So far this one hasn't made a peep. ... show more
