  • Excellent Power Supply with Great Features and Quiet Operation
Style: Gold Size: 850W
I recently purchased the Thermaltake GF1 (2024) 850W power supply, and I'm extremely satisfied with its performance. The 80 PLUS Gold certification ensures high energy efficiency, which is perfect for my high-end gaming setup. The fully modular design makes cable management a breeze, and the low-profile flat cables help keep my build neat and tidy. One of the standout features is the Smart Zero Fan technology, which minimizes noise by keeping the fan off until the power supply reaches a certain load. This makes for a very quiet operation, which is a huge plus for me. The build quality feels solid, and the industrial-grade protections (OCP, OVP, UVP, OPP, SCP, OTP) give me peace of mind regarding the safety of my components. The compact size also fits well in my mid-tower case without any issues. Overall, this power supply delivers excellent performance, efficient cooling, and quiet operation. It's a great choice for anyone looking for a reliable and efficient power supply for their PC build. ... show more

  • Great Value
Style: Platinum (ATX 3.0) Size: 850W
Amazing PSU, everything works as it should, it's quiet and easy to install. This is for the Toughpower PF3 850w 80+ Platinum <3 used this in a lian li o11 dynamic with a Hero VIII.

  • Great PSU
Style: Gold Size: 600W
First thing I'll mention is that I received a used/returned unit, which was very obvious. Everything was there and other than a label that was slightly peeling, it was a fully functioning working unit. I can't blame manufacturers for reselling all the stuff that's RMA'd due to inexperienced computer builders. I've used at least 3 of these in recent builds and all continue to work well after 9+ months. Only complaint is that some motherboards have two 12V EPS connectors (CPU) and this PSU only has one. In practice it makes no difference because most motherboard/CPU combos don't need the second connector, but it would be nice to have the second one installed. I love the sleeved multi-colored & ketchup/mustard wiring, it makes diagnosing PCs so much easier. Nothing worse than diagnosing all black wiring and having to look up connector pinouts to see which one is which. I use these PSUs for customers, and I don't like modular wiring because they might need to add something in the future, which in that case you'd have to leave the extra wires connected anyways for that purpose. I used to buy another brand for these types of builds (obviously these aren't high end gaming systems) that is no longer available, but this has been a great alternative for the price and has a gold efficiency rating. Zero complaints so far, and very quiet while in use. ... show more

  • very nice power supply
Style: Gold Size: 750W
this is the best power supply I've ever owned. the modular capability made install and connecting things a breeze. it runs quiet and has plenty of juice for my rig. I love the warranty if I ever should need it and it came shipped in a nice box with a little storage bag for the extra cables. LOVE IT.

  • Solid 600w entry level PSU but only has one GPU power lead
Style: Gold Size: 600W
The EVGA 750w PSU I had picked up on massive discount had a defective fan so I was in a pinch and needed a replacement ASAP that was budget priced and this one fit the bill. It has zero modularity but is gold rated. It was going in a mid-tower with not much room for the PSU so the smaller size of this unit allowed for easy installation. It works well and powered a 7800X3D based system just fine. Be careful of your GPU requirements as this only comes with one single PCIe GPU cable with a pigtail (2x connectors on it) so it is best used for single power connector GPUs or lower consumption two power connector GPUs with a total consumption of 300w or lower. Overall, a solid, quality unit but make sure it will support your GPU. ... show more

  • Beware: Chinese Capacitors Can Explode
Style: Gold Size: 750W
Purchased the 750w Gold unit, 2/10. At this price point, these features are almost unbeatable. It clears anything else that is sub $100 out of the water, however, there is one major flaw: cheap chinese capacitors. I bought this unit in Feburary of 2024, and since then it has worked without a hiccup until yesterday when a capacitor shorted and caught on fire sending molten plastic, and the interior of the capacitor out into the rest of the power supply. This caused a small explosion inside of the power supply as the capacitor ruptured with great force. Luckily I was able to unplug it and no further damage was done. At the time of writing this, I'm still not sure if any of the rest of my components are damaged, but heres to hoping. Overall, by going with this budget unit you are taking a gamble. If it doesn't explode, it's a great unit with a lot of great features at this price point, however, if it does explode, you could potentially be out of a whole PC. The question is, is that risk worth it to you? My recommendation, if you are looking to buy this, is only buy if you cannot afford something in the $120 range, I highly recommend the Seasonic Focus GX or most Japanese capacitor power supplies in the $120-$140 dollar range. If you are really unsure, just buy one off of the PSU tierlist on cultist network. Cheers and happy holidays ... show more
