I am a huge Star Wars fan, I seen these and had to grab em. I had just bought a card table and planned on having weekend card games. This past Saturday I hosted a game and was exited to use my new cards. The cards were beautiful, gold edition, they felt great, amazing quality but about half way through the game, literally everyone asked to use the cheap deck that came with my chip set. No one could read the cards on the table, the suits were hard to distinguish from one another. You could tell the color easy enough but it was hard to tell if it was clubs or spade, diamond or heart. Also the numbers were hard to read, you end up counting the suits on the card. Luke looks like a Queen instead of a King, just wanted to put that out there. The effort it took to process what you were playing with put a damper on the game. I’ll probably keep the two sets I bought because as I said, I’m a huge fan and they are absolutely beautiful cards but not very functional. I’ll likely never play another game with them which is disappointing. They will have a place on a shelf in my Star Wars room though. If you’re a collector I’d recommend them, if your a player I’d pass, you’ll be disappointed. But….we’re all over 40, with a couple exceptions, so maybe we’re just old and blind🙈 ... show more
