  • Moisturizing and No White Cast
This has been my go-to sunscreen for a few years now and I will never turn back. As someone with a dark beard most sunscreens have a white cast that gets stuck in my beard and looks horrible throughout the day. This sunscreen, even though it goes on white, becomes clear quite quickly, isn't greasy, doesn't have a song smell, and doesn't irritate my highly sensitive skin. It's also extremely moisturizing and I don't even need to add an extra moisturizer to my routine. Definitely give it a shot, especially if you are someone with dark hair and pale skin or extremely sensitive skin like myself that's prone to break outs, especially from sunscreens. ... show more

  • Burns your eyes
It has a really nice finish and doesn't feel heavy, but no matter how far away from your eyes you apply it.It still gets in your eyes and burns all day

  • My favorite facial SPF
I really don’t understand the low ratings. This is hands down the best SPF face lotion ever made (at least for me). It makes skin look better, smooth and radiant. I put it on my toddlers’ faces too, they ask for it. So, I run out of it too quickly. I need a box of this stuff - I can’t get enough :)

  • Very thick and a slight cast but will use for field days
This was much thicker than I thought it would be. Which very well could just be a “me” issue. it has a slight cast when you first apply but it seems to fade, thankfully. Back to isntree watery sun gel for me

  • Size and amount of product
I love using an all over SPF for hand lotion. Since your constantly washing your hands, the SPF being waterproof really helps with keeping the hands moisturized and protected. I love this brand and wanted to try the SPF. I was so disappointed when it arrived because It is the smallest bottle (50 mL / 1.69 fl oz) and cost $36+taxes. It comes sealed which I love. I took the seal off and when i went to use it, I had to really squeeze because a third of the tube is empty. There is no way I have 50ml worth of product and that truly disappoints. I love this brand and I do like the SPF, works so well on hands. I simply cannot justify the price for so little product. ... show more

  • Love this stuff, no strong smell or textures
I have sensitive skin (rosacea and eczema) so I need to use products that don't irritate it and make it red or dry. This one not only checks out in my ingredient checker as having a lot of good stuff, but it really is lightweight and absorbs well, and it's probably the least smelly suncreen I've used yet. I'm not sold on a couple of ingredients, but considering a lack of good alternatives, I won't hold it against them too much. I avoid our hot southern sun when I can, but I have a doggie that needs a good bit of exercise. I haven't gotten any negative reactions using this, and I haven't gotten a burn either. The absorption is super fast and I am only picking up a faint 'sunscreen' type scent for a minute before it fades. Octocrylene may cause issues with some people who have a pretty specific sensitivity to it. I, apparently, do not. Homosalate is great protection against UVB, but according to my checker, lab studies have shown it might have some estrogenic activity. They also say this wasn't anything they found after testing on humans, so the jury is still out, but it s good to know for people who are actively avoiding these things – I know I need to be safe from UVB, though. They used it at a slightly lower concentration than allowed, and combined it with another safer (but similarly weak, as most are) UVB sunscreen to boost effectiveness. This seems to be a typical approach for the information we have available today, and it looks like they're doing the best they can. Similar skin-sensitive formulas I've used do the same, so I really can't take any points off for that considering what great UVB protection the ingredients are. I would recommend this for people with sensitive skin. The checker says it contains lots of goodies, too, like moisturizers and antioxidants. I use a lot of moisturizer and I do notice that my skin is less flaky dry after using it. Good stuff! ... show more
