I ordered this blush in the Third Date color, and I am very pleased with it. This color looks natural and flattering on my fair skin tone. It is not too pink and not too orange. It goes on sheer, but has buildable color intensity and coverage. This blush has an average amount of staying power. It looks great for hours, but fades enough by the end of the day to require a touch up application. I like how this gives my face a healthy looking sun-kissed glow. The packaging has an interesting design. It’s basically a small and thin cardboard booklet that holds a little pan full of pressed powdered blush. The pan is removable so that it can be popped out and discarded once it’s all used up. The cardboard booklet can then be recycled. I like the retro vibe of the illustrated art that is on the cardboard packaging. I also like how the thin and compact size of this blush makes it easy to pack in small essential makeup bags. I don’t like how easily the blush pan becomes unattached and falls out of the cardboard packaging. It is annoying because I have to be careful not to hold the blush upside down when the cover is open or else it will drop onto the floor. theBalm Clean and Green Powder Blush I love this blush shade - it is perfect for my light-medium skin tone and gives your cheeks a light wash of color with a subtle shine. It is the perfect shade of peachy pink. I am not big on blush but this works really well and it is buildable - I only need a bit to get the color I want. The Balm is probably my favorite makeup company. I have several of their eyeshadow kits and a magnetic palette which is just amazing. You can easily pop out any of the shadows and pop them into one palette so you have all of your favorites in one place. I ordered the color ‘third date’ and it’s a very nice and neutral color, I imagine most skin tones would be able to wear this with no problem. I love that the ingredients are the good stuff and none of the yucky stuff. It’s also buildable for more color and coverage. I’m in my 50’s and usually avoid powder blushes because they seem to look dry and caky on my dry skin, but I can easily wear this one. It has just enough ‘glow within’ pigment that looks very soft and natural, not all glittery and shiny. Adorable packaging! Would make a great stocking stuffer type gift! 👍🏻 ... show more

I love the clean list of ingredients and the recycled and recyclable packaging. Having said that, this is not the type of packaging you would throw in your makeup bag and take with you to work, school, or the gym. It's made of paper and will not hold up after heavy traveling. For me it's not an issue, my makeup stays on my vanity. I appreciate the minimalist design, there's no waste or extras that I don't need. Like those mini blush brushes that come with some blushes that we all throw right in the trash because they are useless or those cheap powder puffs that shred to bits after a week. Don't need 'em, don't want 'em! I have my own! The color I have it "third date" it is fine for my ivory skin, but I typically go for rosey cool shades and this is on the warmer peachy side. I am pretty pale and I have blue undertones to my skin as well, this gives me a nice peachy glow that blends well and looks natural. It does have mica in it so there is a luminous quality to it.
