I’m very picky when it comes to body wash. Some are too stripping, some don’t clean you enough. Even if they clean perfectly, a lot of them have horrible gaudy scents. Not only does this clean my skin well, it also leaves it feeling hydrated and smooth, not dry and stripped. I also find the scent to be so therapeutic. The only one I dislike is the lavender variant, but that’s just my personal distaste for lavender. I highly recommend this, especially when it’s on sale! As others have commented, this smells wonderful, feels wonderful, is moisturizing, and all around a fabulous product. I even use it to wash my face and find that it is non-drying. My family and I all use this stuff whenever one of our cats rubs itchies (from prowling outside in the tumbleweeds or nettles) all over our face; I believe this is evidence of its detoxifying effect. Oh, and I absolutely agree with someone else's comment about the marketing changes. The older bottle look was FAR more appealing. After using this for a couple months, I have a few specific comments but I haven’t noticed anything particularly groundbreaking or noteworthy about the product itself. I do however like the ethics of the brand as a whole (vegan, cruelty free, sustainability, transparency) as far as what I can tell from their marketing and a brief google search. I did do a lot of research into the ingredients and I found that they are a lot better than most other body soaps. A lot of other skincare products claim to be “un scented” or “fragrance free” while still having a bunch of other irritating perfuming ingredients like high concentrations of essential oils etc. Since this product is unscented, the smell is kind of a weird earthy/oceany smell that I’m assuming is because of the seaweed. I didn’t like the smell at first, but it’s not very strong and as far as I can tell it doesn’t linger on the skin. My family didn’t notice any weird smell after I started using it at least. It’s possible that this also means it’s not as deeply cleansing as I feel like recently I’ve started to get smelly slightly quicker than I used to, but it’s also getting very hot where I live which may be the only culprit for that. I have a problem with dry legs especially when shaving and it’s gotten a lot better ever since I started using a new set of products. I can’t give all the credit to this as I’ve also been using different lotion and shave cream, but I do think that it’s a helpful factor as a body soap that’s not harsh and doesn’t strip the skin. I don’t have particularly sensitive skin so I can’t speak much to that, but I haven’t gotten any irritation using this. ... show more

What I like about this body wash is everything. At first I didn't really know because it was the first time using it at first I thought it didn't really feel moisturizering enough but it turns out it's fine im 60 something so it's working for me the smell is not strong and it lathers good I'm on my second bottle now had to try another sent im always changing ... show more

I got the orange one previously and have bought different versions in the past. This is a good brand and gentle on sensitive skin. It’s not over drying like Castile soaps it leaves your skin feeling cleansed and moisturized but not over moisturizing where your going to break out. I even have used it as a facial wash. The rosemary mint and eucalyptus mint scents are very pungent, and not in a good way. Bearable, but definitely not engaging scents. Perhaps it is the combinations used. Seaweed is known to have many hydrating and detoxifying benefits for skin. That is why I purchased this cleanser. It did clean well and left my skin feeling soft, not dried out. I was not allergic to any of the essential oils used to scent the product. Also, two bottles leaked slightly. Just enough to be annoying, but not enough to spur me to ship it back. The company needs to put an inner seal on the bottle under the cap. Amazon had wrapped the product very well, but jostling during shipping likely loosened the manufacturer's cap.
