Everything you need to know, starting with the history of the Axolotl, setting up the tank, why creating hiding places is necessary and the detailed dietary requirements. Feron addresses the potential hazards. As a "newbie" myself, I learned a lot about their characteristics and regenerative properties that make them so unique! As for the "caring for" portion of the book, the author does a great job mentioning the most common mistakes owners typically make and how to prevent them yourself.
