Very nice reference book which includes the many newly AKC-recognized breeds. Useful for dog show competitors, breeders, potential owners, and anyone interested in the ever growing world of dogs. Despite the many wonderful mixed breed dogs, it's still helpful to know the expected size, characteristics, and origins of the incredible varieties of dogs. There are so many differences in the breeds, and knowing what they are can help guarantee the success of the ownership experience.
