Dr. Joseph Murphy (1898-1981) was a leading figure in the New Thought movement. His books and audio talks emphasize the power of the subconscious mind and the importance of positive thinking along with faith in this power. In the 1940s he healed himself of life threatening cancer, and he recounts similar wondrous events throughout his works. Like many others over the years, I've always found Dr. Murphy's books to be insightful, warm, uplifting and encouraging. This collection of 24 books ends with his most well known and classic work THE POWER OF YOUR SUBCONSCIOUS MIND, written in 1963. I have almost all of Dr. Joseph Murphy's printed books and was looking forward to someday getting the original, unedited, unmodernized versions in eBook format. Publisher JEREMY P. TARCHER/ PENGUIN here provides 24 books written from 1945-1963, all nicely formatted with linked Table of Contents. This Kindle book also provides page numbers and the entire volume is 932 pages. Individual books do not have their own separate page numbers but those can be easily calculated if desired. Reading this book changed my emotional state completely. I was in a 2-year depressive slump and randomly ran into this book in a bookstore. I ended up getting the Kindle version because the physical book was about 8x10x3, weighed about 3 lbs, and had a 6pt font. Within the next couple of weeks of reading random chunks of the 2-dozen or so books this includes, what I was reading started connecting up with numerous experiences I'd had, as well as functionally describing the mechanism I observed in operation in a very early "spiritual" experience I had. In short, what he was describing exactly matched my own direct observations of what Alchemists refer to as the "Great Magical Agent," or the "First Matter." The realization drove home an understanding that previously was only intellectual. Something to be aware of is that he speaks of everything in Biblical terms. But he's not talking about ANY common understanding of the Bible. This is categorically NOT a "Jesus saves" book. At all. Just know it's the language he uses to explain the mechanisms that create the world we experience, and read through it. It's a much more accurate expression of what the Bible's actually talking about than ANY standard Christian interpretation. ... show more

I’ve just received this amazing treasury of 24 of Dr. Joseph Murphy’s books! I’m so thrilled as I have listened to a few online when they were on YT in his own voice! I love these teachings & I have purchased his very best works! I had not realized how many of his books were in this treasury and so I was puzzled by the size of the book...very large & the smallness of the print! Mine arrived a bit damaged, but I was able to take a good look at this product. I love the material in this book, but it is monsterous, the type is rather small, and it would certainly provide some awkward reading experiences. Are you supposed to take a 900+ page paperback with you anywhere? I don't think so. I suggest anyone really interested in this Joseph Murphy material to go ahead and buy the Kindle version. Joseph Murphy books are spiritually enlightening. They raise your faith to a new level. There are many many examples of how to apply these lessons to your life. I will study this volume for years to come. I do recommend you get the kindle version. The printed version is over 900 pages of very small print. I looked at it in the bookstore and found it tedious to read. The few bad reviews on this book are all about the printed version. The kindle version is awesome. I have it loaded on my kindle, iPhone and laptop. ... show more
