Not kind of like brown sugar or nothing like brown sugar, but like if you took brown sugar and rubbed it on your body brown sugar. I was actually very pleasantly surprised. Also, it's a bit of a thinner consistency but most definitely moisturizes the skin. And the scent sticks around for a long while. I like supporting small businesses because they usually seem to have the best products. I am an older woman and as I have aged, I have developed more allergies and sensitivities to chemicals, fragrances, and even so called natural products with essential oils. I am highly allergic to essential oils! I read all the good reviews and decided to try this, and I am so glad I did. I have not been able to use several other fragrance free, hypoallergenic brands of creams or lotions on my face, but I am loving this stuff. I am putting it on my whole body, and it works for me better than any other brand I've tried. I like the texture of this but the baby powder scent is very strong. For that I had to take off a star. After using just a pump the scent was very strong and lasted a long time but was too strong for me. I would have to mix it with a non scented lotion in order to use it. I buy this lotion often. It smells nice, not super duper thick but not thin. Moisturizes really well. It appears to be from a smaller company and I always love to support small businesses with good products. I have very dry, sensitive skin that bleeds if scratched too much. This lotion is so soothing on my legs I now apply it every night. While I may not get the peppermint again (not quite the smell I was going for) I think this brand has become my new go to :)

I love the Carmel Candy smells wonderful. However I never received the brown sugar, I thought maybe I just didn’t order it. However it’s listed on my order history so that’s disappointing.
