I absolutely love the look of this Leather coat— The sleeves were about 2” too short for my boyfriend so we are returning the coat but are buying it in a larger size. I got this as an anniversary present from my fiancée. I got an X-Small, because I'm a little dwarf, and have always had problems fitting into clothes properly. When I got it in the mail, I noticed it smelled somewhat like plastic, though I realized it was mostly due to packaging, because the scent wore off after some days and the jacket began smelling like real leather. The jacket fit like a glove, which was a relief, because there's nothing worse than an ill-fitting leather jacket. My one gripe with the product is that, due to the thinness of the leather, it's somewhat sensitive and can be scratched easily. I haven't had any real problems with it, as I happen to be very careful with my belongings, but some others that are not typically cautious might experience more wear and tear than expected. I don't think this jacket would be suitable to wear as a motorcycle jacket, as the leather is too thin to offer protection. It's somewhat thin, so it does not provide enough warmth to be worn throughout the winter, but it's suitable for fall and springtime. Despite what deficiencies it might have (it's really quite difficult to find perfect products), for the price the jacket looks and feels wonderful. When I first took it out of the packaging I thought to myself it had to be faux leather. It was brand spanking new, super shiny and very smooth with no texture. However, once I got it out, put it on and started breaking it in a little bit the natural creases and texture of the leather really came out. It just needed a little conditioning so I would recommend breaking it in before rushing to judgement ;) Like other reviews I would agree the leather is thin, really soft and not at all like the thicker stuff you see in other leather jackets. The jacket itself is thin (and comfortable) too and perfect for the climate here in Southern California. I am 5'11" 208 pounds with a 36" waist and athletic build. My typical jacket size is a 42R and my shirt size is 17.5 34-35. I ordered a size L and the jacket fits perfectly. Leather jackets, especially leather moto jackets, are not supposed to fit baggy and/or bulky. Another point I would like to make is that while it is a very stylish-casual leather jacket, it is not so trendy that you look ridiculous and feel out of place wearing it. I feel "cool" and comfortable with it on, which is the point, right? I am going to take back the $700 leather jacket I recently purchased and keep this one :) ... show more

OK folks, so I own some seriously solid, quality leather jackets ( Schott NYC) that keep getting better with age. Expensive as heck, but one is going strong at 22 years and the other is now 10 years old. I wanted to have a different style available, one to knock around in, and I was just not in the mood to spend a lot for another leather. So like you, I internet surfed coming up with Leather factory. When I opened up the package I was.....pleasantly surprised. A casual observer, not a leather jacket fan, wouldn't know this to be a $500 jacket or what it is; a low grade leather processed $139 buck jacket. It looks GOOD! It looks better than the ad photo, as it doesn't have that loose hanging look at all. The leather is pretty soft and has some weight, but its not a "heavy" jacket as some can be. I will add that the lining and general stitching overall appears minimalist and likely will not be robust. I imagine with rough and tumble wear it won't stay together well, and the leather coating process, while looking quite good, will likely fail as well. It did fit very well. I suggest you upsize by one when ordering, at least it worked great for me. So overall.....great buy for the money if you want a good looking jacket and not kill a month's rent in the process. If you plan on doing outdoor physical things much in this, I'd say be kinda gentle or don't get mad if you only get 2 seasons out of it. ... show more

I purchased this jacket primarily for a Halloween costume and ended up wearing it much more than I first intended to. The jacket is genuine leather, fits very nice, and feels pretty light weight while keeping you warm!

Impressed with the quality for the price. Genuine Full-Grain Lamb leather, that's very soft and supple with a semi-matte finish. It's the kind of leather that'll develop a patina with age instead of cracking and falling apart. Fit is good not great at size 2XL, I shouldve gone for XL, as the sleeves are a bit longer than I would like also the shoulders fit seem loose. But the waist and chest fit is great, especially if you decide to wear layers. One goofy thing was the reversed zipper, being on the left side instead of the normal right side. It's not a big deal. Also I didn't notice any smells that other reviewers pointed out - they could've received a weird batch or the manufacturer fixed that issue... All in all, its a great leather jacket that you will certainly enjoy wearing for many years. ... show more
