I haven't had a game impact me like this one did for a quite a while. The way the characters evolve and devolve is just incredible, this was the perfect sequel to what was already an amazing game. Very interesting and diverse cast of characters, and when an established character dies you really feel the loss. I can see why this game won GOTY in 2020, but I can also see why some people don't like it, it can be controversial in terms of story telling, lot of messed up things happen, some stuff that had even me a little disturbed. If you're sensitive to certain topics, like murder, suicide, abuse, torture, or extreme gore I wouldn't recommend this game. Wait for HBO to release the second season of the TV show instead, it'd probably be a little less intense. ... show more

I know this game is polarizing and it was very hard for me to get through it once let alone again. The remaster is absolutely worth playing. This is a very emotionally taxing game for me, I don't think I think twice is enough lol.

The Last of Us II is an absolute masterpiece. As of 2024, it holds the title as the most award-winning game in video game history. From its story to its visuals to its audio to its gameplay, TLoU2 is a masterclass in game development as an artistic medium. This remastered version provides polish and upgrades to the original in multiple places, so it's worth getting even if you've already played through the PS4 version. The story may prove triggering or unsettling for some, but that's just part of the top-tier storytelling here. I found it Jarring how there was a Toxic Backlash on narrative moments in This Sequel game, But I look at it like this The Last of Us part 2 was a Horror Movie Video Game there was nothing to find Adorable about it! You’d have played Pokémon or Kirby games for that! The remastered version won’t forgive anyone for that Toxicity but it’s still worthwhile in games due to it’s polished fidelity! You’ll be even more freaked here than the original version and that says a lot! ... show more

    • I enjoyed it but...
The game is fun to play. There are lots of options to customize. This game is for adults and teenagers maybe but be aware, before you purchase, there is a lot of sexuality in the cinematics. The story is just okay. The sexuality made it less interesting and was totally unnecessary.
