I bought this on a whim because I thought it would perhaps light up the outside of our house since we can't have fireworks It worked for one day, then the starfield quit, WHICH WAS THE POINT OF BUYING THE PRODUCT IN THE FIRST PLACE Some of the reviews mentioned that the remote doesn't work? This is because it's infrared and you have to be right in front of the thing more or less, for it to work, but it does. As to the Bluetooth speaker? Meh. A little on the weak side, but it would be very good in the bedroom or living room ... show more

The unit itself is large and it casts a very small, redundant and unimpressive swirl that looks nothing like a galaxy. It’s a blah & swirling boring light on the ceiling while giving off a lot of annoying side light. Totally disappointing would not recommend.

First thing to note is that it has to be so close to the ceiling to get that thick aurora galactic look. I tried setting it on my nightstand and pointing it at the ceiling and it gets so thined out you can hardly see the colors let alone the nebula solar looking clouds.. the second thing worth noting is that it is SO bright, it's blinding. It's so bright that there is no relaxing with this thing in the room. One glimpse in it's direction and you seriously go blind. Not worth it. I have seriously purched was less expensive galaxy lights with way better coverage and without the blinding effect. ... show more

This is SO pretty, and I love that you can listen to something using the Bluetooth speaker. The patterns are GREAT! But the mode I like is a preprogrammed one, and you can't adjust the brightness. I generally use this when I am going to sleep, and if it is too bright, it defeats the purpose! So, I have to use the manual setting, which just isn't as pretty. ... show more
