These are an aesthetically pleasing coasters They excel at thermal protection of counter tops, furniture, or what ever you put them on. Since they are thick they also provide nice protection from knicks, dents, scratches, etc. I have a few negative observations: 1) They slide around a good amount. 2) Although the will hold some, they can't hold much overflow of beverages. 3) One of the most expensive options in this product class.
