      • Beautiful Belcher Burgers
    Bob's Burgers has been one of my favorite shows for a few years now. It isn't as popular as family guy, flashy as Archer, or as culturally daring as Venture Bros. but it has garnered a steady, loyal following through shockingly consistent quality. To those loyal fans, this is the book you've been dreaming of. All those terrific joke burgers have been lovingly collected into one book, that goes as far as to giving you the basics of making burgers AND fries, in easy to follow, step by step directions, that never talk down to the reader. On top of the great recipes the book is absolutely filled with amazing art work from the show. Yes, that's right; the cook book doubles as an art book. All this for, at the time of writing this review, under $12. Deals don't get better than this. If you love Bob's Burgers, this is a no-brainer. If you don't, that's because you haven't seen it. Take a second and go watch it, I'll wait....are you back? I know, right? It's amazing! I don't know why more people aren't talking about it either, but now that you know, why don't you buy this book? Not only are you getting awesome art, not only are you getting amazing recipes, but you're also supporting, what I'm assuming is, your new favorite show! Buy it now and thank me later. ... show more

      • Here's what I love about this cookbook
    Here's what I love about this cookbook: when you get to the first few pages you see a new business that sells cookbooks and towards the end that same business is now called "The Tong Good-Buy" store. I love the fact that there's a whole page on how to make burger patties and another page on how to make fries, almost every page has an illustration that goes with the recipes. Whether it's what the burger looks like deconstructed or a character such as Linda wearing French clothes and drinking wine the illustrations are clever, funny, and make this book very special. Each time there's a burger of the day mentioned, it also tells you which episode that burger came from. For Example, the burger of the day "If Looks Could Kale" come from season 2 episode 7, "The Moody Foody". If you love this show, burgers, and/or being creative; this book is for you. Or you could give it to someone who likes this show as a birthday present or as a stocking stuffer if it'll fit in a stocking. ... show more

    Great Recipes and a really fun book. I was expecting just some cheesy recipes and funny but this really has some very solid cooking advice and recipes. Love it.

    We are so impressed!! Huge fans of the show and I have wanted this cookbook for a long time and I’m so glad I bought it! The recipes, dad jokes, series references and instructions are all phenomenal! My husband loves pickles so we started with this one and put it on a pretzel bun with some sautéed veggies and it was so quick and delicious. Meals are pretty heavy though, so we will probably only cook one a week. All recipes are for a total of 4 burgers so be prepared to adjust where needed. ... show more

      • Pleasantly surprised about the recipes!
    I thought this book was a joke when my son asked for it. I love the show and didn't realize he was such a big fan. To my surprise, the book has some decent burger recipes. We've made a few together and the recipes have products that the average person would be able to find in a typical grocery store. The recipes are not overly complicated and are easy to follow. They are easy enough for beginner books or those trying to explore different burger options. The burger names are clever and a play on the characters and story line. ... show more

    This is an adorable book full of interesting burger recipes based on the iconic daily specials listed on the chalkboard of Bob's Burgers. I believe it only covers the first three seasons and I would happily buy one for subsequent seasons. It's a great little recipe book and a must for serious fans of the show. My personal favorites are "Baby You Can Chive My Car" and "Bet It All On Black Garlic." I've bought this for myself and given several others away as gifts. People see it on my shelf and have to check it out. ... show more

      • Delicious Burgers, Easy Instructions
    The title says it all really. Great burgers in this book with easy instructions. Perhaps not fine dining but I've enjoyed many of the recipes, and if you're a fan of the show Bob's Burgers, it's even better! Though some of the burgers do not hold up to others as they are usually based around puns, many are tastier than you'd expect. My favorite so far has been the Parsnip Vous Francais burger, a burger with a blue cheese aoli and parsnip fries. Personally, I don't even bother with the fries, as I found the parsnips far too sweet, but the burger was delicious and so simple to make you really only need a few ingredients. Would I recommend this book to a professional Chef? Well, it depends.But if they were a fan of Bob's Burgers I definitely would, and I have been suggesting it to all my friends.
