Loved this movie and its distinctive style from when i saw it in theaters so felt like a no brainer to get the book. The concept art is unsurprisingly gorgeous. I love the insights in the creative process and the iterations included as well. Genuinely a great read to understand how they fleshed out this side character into the lynch pin of whole new beautiful world beyond Shrek! I absolutely love the art in the movie so it’s great to see the early concepts. I’m an artist and I always enjoy checking out concept art for different animated movies. It’s cool to see the process. If you enjoyed the movie and you’re curious, I’d absolutely recommend the purchase.

The illustrations are very gorgeous and showcases every character, location, and story element that makes this animated film a timeless classic for the modern age.
