The other reviews are right, there is not a large variety of pictures. I am happy that my players can refer to the cards for a definition of the items actions/worth, this is the main reason I gave them a five star review. There is only one of each card. This may be fine for armor or weapons, but if you were wanting more than one "Potion Of Healing" your out of luck. Also there are no blank cards to make your own items.     • Good product, solid design
Shipped fast, just got them in and only had time to skim through them, but enough to comment on quality. They're very good. Thin, but nice lamination. If they hold up through the games is a test of time, but from what I can tell they look good, well packaged, all of the prints are clean and text is clear. No blemishes. I saw a lot of reviews that stated repetition of pictures or irrelevant pics for the said item. Again, I haven't gone through all of them, but I haven't found anything concerning. I am new to dnd and it's content, so I can see how that is an irritant for more seasoned players that are looking for more custom-like cards, but from a designer's point of view, I understand why some designs repeat. It's the same in video games and an efficient way to create content. I don't find the designs unappealing much less an issue for playing. That's just my opinion and why I gave them 5 stars. Lots of cards and item variety with good descriptions, these will definitely help someone like me who is new to the game to fill my world out! ... show more

This is exactly what I needed to add to my D&D games. Cards were clean, easy to read, and had in depth item descriptions. These magic items are also in D&D beyond so that you can easily add them to players inventory.

We love having these cards for our campaign. It's much easier for the DM to award stuff or set up a "shop". The cards have all the info you need so you don't have to go back in to the PHB and since you don't have to write it down, it is much faster. Only complaints: 1)It would be nice to have multiples of cards like potions that are spread around the party or blank cards to make them and 2)The print is a little small for us +50 gamers (especially if it is really late and a drink or two has been imbibed). ... show more

Excellent resource for players and DMs alike. The item descriptions are perfectly coherent for experts and newbies and the range is fantastic. I’m considering getting a second set just so I have a stock of duplicates. The cards are laminated, about the quality of your typical playing cards (but smaller, of course) so not exactly difficult to bend or damage if they aren’t taken care of. My only complaint would be that while the art is varied, there are definitely a lot of placeholder images, and many wondrous items are drawn with your typical pile of knickknacks. I would love to see a Series 2 of sorts with another set of magic items, potentially from the community with all the excellent homebrew out there. Cheers. ... show more
