Used on my lawn for the first time about 2 months ago. It does seem to have improved the soil as areas which never grew grass are filling in. You can also see the soil looking better. Not as compacted. It does take some time to amend soil but that is expected. I would recommend this. Small granules which were easy to spread with broadcast spreader. Used at recommended rates this will make your soil better. Product has both biochar and humic acid. I plan on dropping this down twice a year. ... show more

I am going on faith here that this stuff works as intended. It is easy to spread, does not stain concrete and I have high hopes that it will help to improve my soil condition. It is the second year I've used it in my Texas clay soil.

    • Great Product - Misleading Info?

I use this every uear during the spring and summer on my TifTuf Bermuda and Zeon Zoysia lawn and love it. It really feeds the soil and you see the results in turf. You can use practically as much as you want with no harm. Price is a little high but I buy the 40lb back for multiple applications. What I do find misleading about this product is it states it is a 50/50 mix of biochar and humic acid yet right there on the back, it states 32.00% humic acid and 42.96% biochar. Not sure how this is 50/50, but doesn't take away from my 5 star rating. ... show more

    • Turned my anemic grass around where fertilizer did hardly anything.

I have very poor soil that was imported to raise my yard to correct drainage. The trouble is that this imported fill was garbage. Basically hard pan. Grass has always done very poorly. Barely surviving. Fertilizer had minimal affect over the last three years. Was at my wits end. Tried this stuff. BAM lush green lawn for the first time. I went with a heavy application two months apart. My lawn is now at 90% perfection. Somehow this stuff helps the roots absorb fertilizer nutrients. I'm on auto ship with this stuff now. Not cheap, but it turned my backyard around, making it a paradise whereas before it was just an ugly eye sore with anemic grass and thriving weeds. ... show more

This product is nothing short of a miracle! My partner often unintentionally damages our lawn—whether it’s from letting the mower stall and causing blade burns, or mistakenly over-fertilizing and not watering properly. But every time, this product swoops in and saves the day. In addition, it quickly addresses those unsightly dog urine burn spots left by inconsiderate neighbors. We live in an area that is HOT and with clay soil so this stuff really gets the soil healthy to repair damage. New grass takes root quickly, and before you realize it, the lawn is restored to its former glory. The secret formula feels like pure magic! Although it’s a bit on the expensive side, it has consistently proven to be a lifesaver for our turf. So, when my partner’s lawn care gets a bit reckless, I take charge of the repairs, and with Andersons, we rest easy knowing we’ll have a lush lawn again before long. ... show more

Expensive but worth every penny. Lawn looks great still on 12/1/24 and I live just south of the Michigan boarder. The whole neighborhood has already gone dormant. Mine is still very green. will be using this every april and october.
