If you have sensitive skin this may work great for you. It has salicylic acid, aloe Vera, and witch Hazel all which help with clearing tone, pimples, and excess oil. It effectively cleans without stripping the moisture from my skin. Some people have said it is too light, but the current recommended method of washing your face by many dermatologists is to double cleanse, just like you’re supposed to do with shampooing your hair. I wash all the oil and dirt off first rubbing lightly with my hands, then rinse and do a longer cleanse which is mainly just letting it sit on my skin for a minute or two and allowing the good stuff to do it’s work. I have zero complaints other than it’s kind of expensive compared to competitor face washes, but it works 10x better, so I will keep buying it. ... show more

I switched to this face wash recently and really love it. It’s gentle on my skin without drying it out like Cereve did. My only complaint is the smell of the aloe vera. When I first got it, it smelled fine. But after having and using it for a few weeks, I noticed the smell changed, like it was going bad? I’m not sure how to describe it; it just smelled weird. I’m down to the last bit of my bottle and won’t be buying the aloe vera version again. ... show more

I’m prone to eczema and irritation, so trying a new cleanser can be difficult. But Thayer’s really popped off this time. There’s virtually no scent except the faint smell of witch hazel. The closest thing I could compare to the texture and feeling would be Glossier’s Milky Jelly Cleanser, but Thayer’s actually produces a lather and cleanses more effectively.
