I don't eat white flour or white rice so I bought these noodles believing that they really were made with brown rice. The truth is they're made with both brown rice and white rice. Will never buy again. If you care for your health and want to use only brown rice these are not the ones you need.

These made me love alternative noodles after having so many bad experiences with other products. I make them with salted/seasoned turkey broth and a bit of ghee instead of water (you could use any kind of broth) for added flavor, which makes a huge difference. Also, instead of following the package directions, I only use the amount of liquid it will absorb during the cooking time and I don't drain it afterwards (because there isn't anything left to drain). This way all the flavor stays with the noodles and they come out just a bit "saucy". Granted, this did take me several tries to perfect the amount of liquid and cooking time. These are pre-portioned and individually wrapped in the perfect amount for a single serving/meal, which is great because they don't reheat well. I've now transferred that concept to other alternative noodles and it's really increased my food successes since they all turn to mush as leftovers. ... show more

I love these noodles, boil water, put in one packet of noodles per serving, take off heat, set timer for 5 minutes, stir noodles frequently, dump into colander. I use a stove top but you could use a microwave. Sometimes I make a main dish from scratch, other times it is P F Chang, supplemented with some colorful peppers etc. which go in towards the end. Usually put my noodles on the plates topped with main dish. Left overs have been nuked and it's all come out fine. I searched all over for brown rice noodles like these and could not find them in stores. I tried several other gf noodles and did not like them as much as the white rice noodles made by this company but I wanted brown rice for health reasons (higher fiber). These are great. They come in single serve packages, which is great since I am the only one who needs GF noodles, so it's easy to use these pre-measured pkgs for me. ... show more

I like these first, because they come in 4 bundles of noodles per package, each a single serving bundle. Next I like how they cook up in a few minutes and store in cold water for later use. I just add these things to broth and vegetables. They are relatively tasteless and somewhat slimy. Easy to fix. Boil water, throw them in for five minutes, then add whatever. They work better with stir fry. A poor substitute for rice and they do not apparently contain much brown rice, mostly flour.

These are perfect for any noodle dish that includes a strong sauce, like Pad Thai. They’ve better substance than white rice noodles and don’t disintegrate so quickly, which is a blessing to harried cooks. Will definitely order again.
