The TFS crawling crab toy is even better in person. It arrived in branded packaging (well, a gift box really) suitable for gifting. The crab is made of durable plastic, and after charging it with it's included usb cable, we were off to the races. Literally this crab had us cracking up. It scoots this way and that, the whole time making a racket with the music and it's little eyes flashing. My grandson is still too little to enjoy this toy, but the adults in the room gave it 5 stars. There is a small paper explaining the modes (you can adjust the speed 3 ways), and you can adjust the volume of the music and whether or not you want the music playing at all. I ordered the blue crab, and he is gorgeously blue. I can see having a bunch of these crawling around making a racket and making us forget our cares for a few minutes! 5 stars. ... show more

My baby absolutely despises tummy time. She screams within 30 seconds of me putting her on her stomach unlike my first baby. This has helped majorly to distract her during tummy time. Sometimes it’s for 2 extra minutes, other times it’s for 5 extra minutes before she melts down. I recently got this Crawling Crab Toy 2.0 for my one-year-old grandson, and it's been the greatest thing for his playtime. This toy is seriously the coolest thing I've seen for toddlers - it's amazing how it actually encourages him to crawl and explore. The crab's dancing movements, along with the fun sounds and lights, gets my grandson's attention like nothing else. He scurries around after it for quite some time, and it's amazing to see him so engaged. Yes, be prepared for some noise, but you can even control the volume for your sanity but ideally for the little one's sensitivity. Another bonus is that it's rechargeable, so you don't need to worry about batteries running out. Setup was a breeze, and I appreciate that it's safe and suitable for his age group. If I could suggest one improvement, it would be the addition of a convenient remote control to adjust the speed or turn it off without having to physically intervene. There is no sensor for it to avoid running into things, it runs into everything. The lights are just the eyes and my baby has absolutely no interest in this toy, the music doesn’t even grab his attention.
