    • Doesn’t write smooth
The pens are different than other paint pens I’ve gotten. You need to shake and then push down on the tip numerous times before any paint comes out. The tip of the pen isn’t smooth so any kind of writing or painting there are more streaks than normal. My daughter and I used them on rocks and paper. Maybe they would respond differently on a different material or object. The paint did come off our hands easy enough. We didn’t get any on our clothes so I’m not sure about that. ... show more

The Fine Tip worked great on a small rock that I painted on with letters, that was in a Heart Shape, with not many smooth areas.

    • Fine detail paint markers
These paint markers have extra fine tips which are excellent for completing fine details. These were primarily used for rock painting and completing the fine detail and writings on a rock surface. I was satisfied with the even paint application and vibrant color. It was important to allow the paint to dry before using another marker on the same surface since when mixed, the marker tip got contaminated. Overall the product is good but at $10, the price is steep for only 5 markers. There are other acrylic pen sets at this price point that offer more markers with greater color variety. ... show more
