Description

Export privacy shelter deluxe 01082 Camping is all about reconnecting with nature, but sometimes especially on longer trips it's awfully nice to freshen up a bit. With the Texsport Deluxe Camp Shower/Shelter Combo, gone are the days of jumping into the lake or river, or splashing yourself clean in the camp kitchen sink. It's portable and lightweight, making it simple to enjoy a proper shower in the great outdoors. Measuring four feet, six inches to a side and 87 inches tall, the shower has heavy-duty taffeta walls and rainfly that have been polyurethane coated, and the rainfly has two see-through skylights for improved visibility inside the shower. The unit is flame retardant to C.P.A.I.-84 standards. A removable ripstop polyethylene floor; rust-resistant, chain-corded 0.75-inch diameter steel poles with molded pole joints; and durable speed clips to secure the shelter to its frame make set up fast and easy. Two "no-see-um" mesh windows with zippered storm flaps and four mesh roof panels provide sufficient ventilation, while a large, D-style front door ensures easy in-and-out. A removable external towel bar and internal mesh shower rack help keep your toiletry gear organized. Your purchase additionally includes Texsport's Sun Shower five-gallon reservoir, stakes, instructions for use, and a convenient carrying and storage bag.

Bought this for camping to use with the sprayer on the outside of our tent trailer. The windows on the sides zip open fully so we were able to run the sprayer through the window and my husband hung it from the top with a bungee cord. It's a huge 4'x4' so there lots of room inside to move around. It seems well constructed but as with any item like this, go easy on the zippers and they will last. The towel bars were handy and we also ran one of them through the opposite window to hang it on the inside. It took a little time to assemble and we followed the directions. One of the bars on top wanted to come loose but once it was all put together, it stayed together no problem. The water bag is also nice but my husband tried it and said once you hang it, then the sprayer hangs down, you have to bend over to get under the water or just hold the sprayer (which is hard when washing your hair). I think this would be the case with any water bag though and we were happy it was included. The pocketed caddy included was also helpful. Just follow the directions and don't raise it fully until you've connected things to the roof otherwise it's too tall and you'll have a hard time reaching up there as it's nice & tall. ... show more

    • Nice But VERY Large
We bought this portable shower to hook up to our RV, which already has an outdoor shower. It's my fault that I didn't read the dimensions correctly. This portable shower is big enough for three people! That's a good thing. However, the space between our RV outdoor shower and bushes at national parks will not allow this big of a shower to fit. If you're looking for a nice, portable shower for camping in a tent, this will be perfect. It's well made, and even has a removable plastic piece that sits on the ground so that you aren't standing in mud/grass/etc. The water holder is big enough so you can have a nice, hot shower.     • not a good buy
I purchased the shower tent for when I am out camping where there aren't showers. Worst purchase I've made for someone who camps alone. The set-up takes two people if you are going to do it quickly. Instructions say there is a hole in bottom of them to attach bottom of tent to, unfortunately in a 3 pole set the hole is in the middle pole and since it is connected by stretch line it can't be removed from middle unless you cut stretch line. The water bag is cheaply made and unless you are over 6 feet tall you can't hang the bag in the tent. I set the tent up in my yard because the power went out for a week to test, glad I did. You are better off buying a different solar bag and using a tarp for privacy. Not a happy camper but sometime when I and plan to stay for a few days I might use it put I will have to take a step ladder to hang the bag. Left in the sun and water never gets as hot as advertised on any bag, we filled with hot water. Absolutely do NOT recommend. ... show more

    • Deluxe King Size Shower Tent
This is a great shower tent overall. We bought this shower tent knowing that we would be camping several days straight without shower facilities many times and that there would also be times we’d rather not use the shower facilities at certain campgrounds due to a lack of cleanliness. We had a hard time deciding between this and shower tent and another smaller more lightweight tent that pops up automatically when you pull it out of its case. We ended up buying both for different situations. We bought this one for those times when cargo weight and space were not a issue and we would be camping several days in a place where we needed something of our own to shower with at least every other day. We took into account the following list of pros and cons. Pros: - Very spacious. So it’s easy to fit inside with a kid or two to get them cleaned up. - Accommodates larger and/ or taller people. - Sturdy enough to hange solar shower bags from the frame inside (we used this option a couple times as well as using a collapsible bucket and pump that was USB rechargable. - Has towel racks and many places to hang clothing or towels to make it easy to reach out the windows and grab what you need to dry off and get changed. - Has a shower caddy you can stow shampoo or body wash in. - Has a floor mat that helps keep your feet clean and mud free instead of soaking the ground and making a mud puddle where you shower (water easily runs out the sides at the bottom of the tent). - Very good ventilation between 2”-3” gap at bottom of tent between floor and sides as well as screen windows and screen vent at top. This keeps it from overheating on hot days and also helps it dry out a lot quicker so you don’t have to worry about packing a wet tent away and either having to set it up at home to let it finish drying and keep from molding or having to wait around camp too long while it dries. Cons - Poles that make up the frame are very thin and don’t seem like they’ll last forever. We worry that either too much weight in a hanging water bag in combination with stress from excessive winds may cause the thin walled pipe to split at connection points. - not lightweight or compact for times where cargo space and weight might be an issue. - takes longer to set up than small pop-up versions of shower tents. After I had set this up a time or two and already knew what I was going it probably took about 15-20 minutes to pull out of the bag, assemble and stake down. - Doesn’t come with straps or loop to hang shower heads that are part of electronic pump shower systems. I rigged mine up with the shower caddy that comes with the tent. Overall we are very happy with our purchase of this shower tent and prefer it for longer stays at pull-up car camping spots and for times where cargo weight and space are not an issue. ... show more

I bought this over 5 years ago and did not stake it down to the ground. It was windy at our camp site and the shower blew away. Many years later I was shopping shower tents similar to the one that I previously had and BOOM I found it on Amazon. This Time I will place the tent on a slope to help with water drainage. The bag that comes with the tent is too heavy to hang with the hook provided but that's ok. This time I also purchased a manual pump with a shower hose that way I can use the long hose on the hook. that comes with this tent. For the shower towel rack, inside mesh toiletry bag and, shower bag and .........mat at the floor, This shower tent is the best for the cost, It does take a little Time to put together so if you just want a quick pop up and go then maybe not the best one, If you want to have a comfortable shower experience for multiple days Go for this one ... show more
