Well made carrier. I've only taken 1 cat to the vet in it so far, so i can't speak to durability. The floor is very sturdy for a collapsible carrier. And it doesn't feel like a "bag", or soft, like a lot of the collapsible carriers do. The option of being able to open up the covers on the sides will be nice for longer rides, or keeping it closed of the animal is stressed. Zippers and handles feel well made and sturdy. This is a great, versatile carrier. It's constructed well, and I like that it has a cover for the mesh windows - though I wish there were one for the front door as well. Sometimes it is nice to block out all outside distractions to make kitty feel secure. I just drape a towel over if I need to. The inside padding seems comfy. In fact, I leave the carrier opened under my bed, and my girl takes her daily afternoon naps IN the carrier, so she likes it. It's a good value and quality for the price. ... show more

I've been a fan of these soft-sided pet carriers over the heavy plastic rigid ones for years. These carrier has so many great configurations in terms of 'windows' for your pet to look out of and providing easy access once you have them inside. The size of this carrier is small so be sure to note the measurements before ordering. One of my two cats is definitely too big for it and even my smaller one would be cramped if inside it for long periods of time. I have no plans on taking them on an airplane but for quick trips to/from the vet, this should work well for my smaller cat. At $36, it seems of good quality and design so I feel that it's well-priced. ... show more

This is a great carrier option for a small pet. It is versatile, easy to use, easy to keep clean, and easy to keep air circulation flowing through. It's also easy to leave set up so a pet can get used to it. It doesn't seem to have any odors or issue when brand new, and our cats took to it very readily. In fact, they were fighting over it at one point! The top, side, and front access points are easy to get to, and the versatility of the shade is fantastic. We can either keep it fully open, fully screened off, or partially open. I love that variety! And my daughter loves both the color (pink), and the fact that it can be carried over the shoulder. This cat carrier came flat and had to insert the base pad and zip the sides up to make it a solid unit. Easy to do. The ends unzip, the front unzips, the top unzips, this makes it excellent for different cats that either don't like carriers or do like them. One of my cats has to be lowered in the top, the other one will go right in, as pictured. The mesh sides is nice because is allows good air circulation, and the cat to see out when you are in a secure environment. The fact that they can be covered up is also good to provide a close, secure secluded space for the cat to feel safe if the environment is too busy or strange. The strap is a good solid way to carry this, as well as having two handles that can be used to lift and move the carrier in different environments. The carrier is large enough to hold my fat cat(20lbs), and also good for my small cat(9lbs). I would like to see a way to apply small padlocks to this. If you plan to use it in a busy environment, it would be advised to have the carrier secured against strangers or potential pet theft or accidental escape. This carrier would work for a pet that you can take on a plane with you, but NOT for one you have to check for whatever reason. This would not be good in baggage. It is also good for travel in your car, to the vet, pet store etc. ... show more

This is a great little carrier! After my new kitten found his way to my house I snagged this to take him off to the vet. The inside has a plush bottom and plenty of mesh sides for airflow. I love that there are so many ways to open it up. The front, the top, the side, so many ways! It's also got convenient pockets for me to put his treats in (he hates car rides so treats are a must!) as well as carry handles or a shoulder strap! This entire carrier just feels cozier than the regular, hard-sided cat carrier. The bottom has a soft insert that makes it easy for cats to grip and not slide around. The mesh windows that go all around the carrier make it easier to see your kitty friend and for them to look around, but you also have the cover that rolls up if you need to make it darker/less exposed. It also collapses down easier, making it easy for storage, and has multiple different straps to make it easy to carry in different ways.
