The TI-84 Plus CE works flawlessly, but that's all expected from Texas Instruments. TI also provides on-line PDF Users Guides (very helpful) that can be downloaded. But more importantly there's personal one-on-one math assistance through telephone help line. My daughter had a question on her first linear regression homework (high school) using her TI-84. She didn't clearly understand her teacher's instructions (a lot of buttons and settings to punch). So, she called TI and the assistant walked my daughter through the TI-84's necessary settings. Then the assistant discussed/worked with her to ensure she understood the assignment using the TI-84. Wow, what service!! We've been TI customers since grade school, through middle school, and now high school. Highly recommend TI products. P.S. Get the CE version because the color graphing is so clear and the rechargeable battery and meter is very convenient. ... show more

What can I say? This calculator is the key to do well in school. I've added notes to this calculator for references during exams. This is not cheating but more like using your resources to your full potential. I even downloaded pac-man and other fun games on here. Once the señoritas see you playing games on a calculator, they'll definitely give you their ten digit number. I've had as many as 20 give me theirs in a single day! Aesthetically it is very nice. It is slim and sleek, also comes in very fun colors unlike the older versions that were massive and bulky. There are a few problems I do have with this newer version. The very top of the screen gets easily scratched from the case/lid when sliding it for use and nonuse. Another issue that I have is that I'm constantly looking for the charger to charge it when the battery is getting too low. ... show more

The calculator does exactly what you need it to do if you are an engineer or student. It is great for students preparing for the SAT or ACT, or exams in high school and college.

It works very well. Screen quality is good and it's fast and all, but if you are not going to be a heavy user, I would suggest buying a cheaper graphic calculator. Plus, It needs charging more often, then I had expected.
