Before I made my purchase I was very skeptical based on the reviews. However I moved forward with making my purchase and I am glad that I did. When my flat iron arrived it was packaged very nicely, when I turned it on it was already set for 380 degrees so I proceeded to use it at that temperature and it work fine for my hair. It curled nicely. I was able to get close to the root of my hair with out burning my scalp. If you are on the fence I say go ahead and try it out. you wont be disappointed. I use mine for my new pixie cut I would defiantly purchase another one to have for travel so that I don't have to take this one everywhere. Side note it also has a velcro strap to keep the cord secure so you don't have to wrap it around the flat iron. ... show more
