My oldest son specifically asked for this game for his birthday. He loves this game. This is a great shooter game that has a good story line and great graphics. Being summer vacation we have become a little relaxed on his game time and this is the only game he will play knowing he still has a limited time on the PS5. As a fan of the movies ( mostly the first two) I am enjoying this game quite a bit. Let’s get the bad out of the way right now… THE VOICE ACTORS AND DIALOGUE ARE LAUGH OUT LOUD HORRIBLE! Ok now that being said there is a lot of things they did get right. The lore and the Skynet forces are faithfully adapted. It does have quite a bit of stealth gameplay where I’m at right now which is challenging but rewarding. You can upgrade your skills and the plasma weapons. The version I got for the ps5 has all the dlc including a mode where you can be a terminator in a 45ish minute level where if you die that’s it game over. The graphics are fine, they aren’t horrible, definitely ps4 era but it runs well on the ps5. I’m glad I picked this and Robocop up by the same developer. They seem to have real fans making these things. I probably would have scored it even higher if the voice acting wasn’t so bad… ... show more

I loved the realness of the game. What I mean by that is that resources are scarce. Scarce ammo means you have to pick encounters. If you go head to head you will run out of ammo. So you have to pick encounters and also you have to think ahead...how many enemies are there. Do I craft a med kit or ammo? All in all it's very well laid out to me. Also the trophies on playstation are great. Lots of gold and silver. So very rewarding. Also side missions are great because it changes the story line. ... show more

I’m a fan of the Terminator movies so decided to try this game on my PS5. In short, the game is fine. Was engineered for PS4 so does not take advantage of PS5 capabilities. I’m not even convinced it would have pushed PS4 capabilities. Have been playing about 2-1/2 hours and the story feels pretty flat. Dialogue and characters are weak and the gameplay already feels a bit repetitive. Graphics are ok. Overall I’d give it a rating of disappointing. Paid $27 for it but it feels more like a bargain bin game. Would have been good if it was a $10.99 game. ... show more

Maybe i haven't played enough of it yet. I played for about 45 min to an hour, cant say its as good as good as what some viewers thought. The previews looked good too, but i just dont get that "oh wow, or man cant wait to get to the next level" feeling with this game. Ill stick to just watching the movies on this one.
