I bought this desk to replace a smaller standing desk I had, because I didn't have a enough room for a three monitor set-up and I wanted something to sit in the corner. For the price, this really checked a lot of things off my needs. > Assembly: If you follow the instructions - which I did this on my own in about three hours - take your time and read - you should not have a problem, however some parts didn't line up quite right the first time, but a simple untighten, brace and retighten aligns things well. Overall the frame and the particle board came packaged and damage free. > I saw people complained of gaps between the wing panels and the central panel. I didn't have that experience, the wooden pegs fit in just fine, and the gap is very miniscule on my desk, also have a gaming mat covering most of the desktop so not like I see it anyways. > I used a power drill with a hex bit on the lowest settings possible to help speed things up - no issues with this - if you're not power tool savy, they give you basic tools in the kit - I just have diminshed hand strenth and using a power drill made sure things were bolted down correctly. Overall it fits the three monitors I use for work (one of them is my main gaming screen that is curved.) The finish looks great. I added additional LED strip lights behind it and it looks great. I'll update with pics after I clean up my office. But overall if you're looking for a spacious desk that doesn't break the bank, I'd recommend this for sure! ... show more

Needed a desk that would fit the space allowed, and had metal legs as the desk will straddle a baseboard heater. This met every requirement and is also a nice looking piece in the office. Finish on all pieces was good and I was able to assemble the whole unit by myself in about an hour and a half. Had all the hardware - even one extra of each - Bravo! You're not getting museum-quality furniture here, but it's sturdy, very functional, and looks great, even though it is already covered with equipment, paperwork, etc. Side shelves won't hold anything larger than a small printer, router, etc., or books and paperwork, but handy to have any available storage space. The teak wood looks terrific and is sturdy as well. The assembly takes a little bit of time, and is best with a helper, but it's not terribly hard. Honestly I wish the small desk was a little wider. It feels cramped in between the shelves when I sit in my gaming chair. For that reason alone I regret not getting the larger version. Other than that, the desk is great. ... show more

Took longer to get rid of all the cardboard and styrofoam than it did to assemble. 2 things that will greatly help in building this puppy...1) do not fully tighten mounting screws to desktop pieces until all are threaded; doing this helps align the holes...and 2) save time by using a ratcheting driver with the correct hex bit. Assembly overall was easy. Be very careful not to overtighten some couplings as it will bend the metal bars. ... show more

Put it together myself in about 2 hours. Would have been easier with 2 people, some pieces are pretty heavy. Instructions are clear and the final product is solid. Like other reviewers mention, some of the pieces are not flush and leave gaps. But for the price, it’s a good little WFH desk. As with most furniture installation, the instructions are drawings/diagrams rather than actual pictures of the pieces. The installation instructions were sometimes not clear, so I had to hope I installed some of the pieces correctly. Some of the desktop holes did not match exactly to the metal desk frame, causing gaps in between the 3 desktop pieces; pictured. But overall, I really like this desk for my WFH space. There's plenty of room for everything else I need, including writing space, smart speakers, charging devices, printer & etc. ... show more

let's start with the cons. i'm taking 1 star off for the state of the package when i received it. the box was bulging and held together with tape all over, and the styrofoam packaging was shredded to bits, which resulted in tiny bits of styrofoam sticking to every piece as we took it out of the box. we literally had to vacuum each piece as we unpacked the box, lol. the styrofoam padding being in shambles led to some damage to the table (seen in photo 3) but no defects were bad enough to warrant the effort it would take to pack it up and send it back. now for the pros! it's a beautiful, sturdy, and easy to put together desk. once all the parts were free of the styrofoam "snow", assembly was done within about 45 minutes, and we had no trouble following the instructions, which were very clear and concise. overall, i'm happy with the desk itself, but in my opinion, the package should have never left the warehouse in the condition that it was in. ... show more
