The smell when it arrived was a really strong smell. I put it in the dryer with no heat and used s dryer sheet and it helped some. Took a couple days to flatten completely since it was folded and air right but overall I really like it.

I got this for my classroom library area and the kids literally swim in its softness! The tag says that you can vacuum it but I briefly tried and I wouldn't try it any further. It's going to be a shake outside kind of rug for me. I do notice lots of green lint on the other rugs in my classroom too. Not sure if the children are picking at it or if it's getting stuck in the velcro of their shoes. We'll see how it holds up for the school year. ... show more
