Her vacuum cleaner just glided over the rug. She agreed it was no problem at all. Very important, it looks more like deep pile than the traditional shag rug because the individual blades are very thin and soft instead of visibly twisted threads. Also, this rug is not a trip hazard because it is quite thin. It took just a few minutes to cut it out of the plastic wrapping, unfold it, and lay it in position, and I am 99 years old. It doesn't slide around at all on a wood floor. In San Diego I ordered it in the morning, and it was delivered about 8 p.m. that same evening. In summary, I like its color and texture very much.
